  2. Also petition online is pointless If you really want to make a difference try writing to your congressperson, preferably an actual letter Emails work, but are more likely to be ignored Heck if you can find a way to talk to your congressperson that's the best
  3. They have accelerometers inside of them. I'm not sure how accurate it would be as they are designed to measure sudden or drastic changes.
  4. Pathfinder's come with that size tire, silly! Just select 1989 Pathfinder SE Their selection isn't that great though Michelin LTX (too expensive), BFG Rugged Trail (OK but way better AT's can be found for way less), and BFG AT T/A KO. The AT's are the best bet and with free shipping their price ($159 each) is hard to beat.
  5. OK then I know what the problem is Your truck is cursed Seems you've probably thought of everything I could think of. A short in the wiring maybe? Bad replacement fuel injector?
  6. This would be tough, but see if maybe it's your ECU? Don't know if that would be possible unless you have a parts truck, or know somebody who would be willing to loan you their ECU for a while. Maybe B's parts truck? I'd let you use mine but well you know TBI vs MPFI
  7. Awesome truck man! As for your rear suspension issue, I'm not sure. Ladder bars maybe? But I've heard that they're hard to set up
  8. I'll admit that's a difficult thread to find with just the search tool That thread though is stickied in the How To section, I just clicked to it Go through that section, there's a lot of cool information there!

  10. Well besides the aftermarket support why would you want a D44 over the H223B?
  11. OK take a look at my avatar. Good. Now click this link http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=13814 This link was at the very top of the section you made this thread in. Go ahead and click this link too http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=20711 That is also very easy to find, it's at the top of the garage section. These should hopefully answer any questions you might have. Look around the site there's plenty more information on just about any topic you'll need help with
  12. My 88 had a Firestone mini-spare, so Firestones for 88 I guess
  13. If the filter you got didn't have the gasket around the edge you probably got the wrong filter Did you get a Napa Gold, or did you get their cheapo filter?
  14. You can angle the front seats up too! That one surprised me the most. I have yet to figure out a use for it though, I guess it's kind of nice when you have the seat back reclined and want to angle your knees up a bit
  15. This might be part of your problem. These engines are designed to run on 87 octane. Higher octane fuel burns slower, so not all of your fuel will be getting used. If you want the "cleaning additives" that the octane booster supposedly gives just fill up with name brand gas like Chevron or the like.
  16. The Nissan H233B axle is just as strong as a Ford 9", you're not going to break it with 31's We have members running up to 35's with little problems. They only start running into problems when running 35's with extra low gears locked in the rear. You would have to be thrashing it really hard to do any damage to the rear with 31's The front is a different situation entirely though, the CV joints aren't really designed to handle the stress of being locked. Some members run front lockers with no issues though

  18. My 88 Auto with 31" AT's got low 20's on mostly highway trips. 16 otherwise
  19. The best year Pathfinder is the very early production 90 pathfinder 2 door with MPFI? Yes thank you! But considering that they are next to impossible to find the best year pathfinders are 88-89
  20. IIRC the Mazda version is for FWD There's also a Subaru version too I think
  21. Hey first still works! Its just second and fourth that are missing
  22. 4lo in first Automatic and a little bit of gas and my Pathy would go anywhere (well as long as the auto hubs weren't busted )
  23. All transmission coolers are pretty much the same, supposedly there's only a couple of factories in the world that make them, all the companies just buy them and rebrand them. I was going to put two transmission coolers from early 90's Ford Explorers in mine before my auto bit the dust. They're way cheaper than buying them new and work just as well. Also I love wheeling in my auto, I've never had any problems with it on the trail.
