Yep, bumpers look different, but bolt to the frame the same.

Not many here in NA got that motor in the Pathfinder, mostly just the Hardbodys (pickups) got them here, but with TBI. Anything particular you need to know?

I found actual replacement parts online once, but the cost was stupid expensive, like $300 per side.

That is what I have in my 93's auto hubs, been fine. Just remember not to use too much, the hubs tend to get cranky if over greased. I just wipe a thin layer over the pieces.

I skipped the adapters and just locked the jaws of the chuck on the end when I did that. I use the factory jack at work to raise timbers now and then. Quicker and easier to use than a standard pump action bottle jack!

Richard (Frontier2k1) on NOAS can make a nice set of tube doors, and has made a few for the WD-21 before.

On the flip side, a SL puts your CVs and tie rods at terrible angles, where as a BL leaves them stock.

Don't think any Pathy owner has, but I know a couple Xterra guys who have with the Turbo z rear swap.

My 93 has the compartment and still had the amp tucked in there behind it. On mine (IIRC) the amp in the dash was for the rear speakers and the one in the rear side panel was for the front....how backwards is that?

Still looking at a partial top end rebuild, once you pull the heads you can find the leaks. If it is a bad ring, you will probably see some scoring in the cylinder wall. If it is a leaking valve seal, you should be able to see a build up on and around the valve.

Make your own out of some rubber shower liner, comes in 5' rolls IIRC and is sold by the foot at most hardware stores.

Until a short develops and melts your entire harness, rather than the 2" fusable link wire.

My 93 has the little blue connectors under the seats for the heat option. They might be tucked under an opening in the carpet on your's.

Why I usually yank the ones I find in J-yards to keep around. Haven't neede one yet, but hear enough stories on the boards to keep extras.

Might look into the Rancho 9ks, they can be changed to a couple ride settings from soft to stiff, so you can dial it in where you want it.

Your sensor is probably going out, mine did that for a while after I smacked the sensor on a rock.

They are just overstuffed station wagons now.

You could probably skip the ECU swap and be OK, your existing ECU would just treat it like the 4 speed it has now. Though this is just an assumption, as I have never closely compared the wiring of the 2. If my understanding of the differences is correct, they just changed the ratio on the 3rd and 4th gears, installed a 4th gear lockout switch (OD on/off button), and tweaked the shift points and parameters in the ECU.
