  1. Yeah, your contacts in the switch might be burnt or not making proper contact.
  2. I know a friend of mine had a b!tch of a time getting his removed. Think he ended up getting a whole new compressor.
  3. Quest and Maxima alts are common upgrades for us. The Maxima is a 90amp (IIRC) and just needs the pully swapped. The Quest is 110-130 amp (different years, different output) and needs more elaborate reworking to install properly on our trucks (a mount ground down, new adjuster, pully swap with spacers....).
  4. A hike for me, but maybe not someone else....? I need to go a second round with my frame rust. Did a bunch of repairs 3 years ago, and more spots have appeared since.
  5. If the sender is unplugged, the oil pressure idiot light will be on.
  6. Well, if you want to do it on the cheap, just get a grinder and a straight edge. The gaskets are there to fill in any minor imperfections in fitment.
  7. Does that vary with engine speed and how tight you turn? (If so that is normal.) If your linkage is all good, then you might be out of alignment, or have an unevenly worn tire on the front.
  8. For just squirting something in there, you run the risk of blocking the water passage and creating a hot spot and warping the head.
  9. X2 on REAL welding. About the only real fix besides tossing that head for a new one.
  10. Where are ya at? If you need repair assistance maybe one of us are local to ya.
  11. Obviously your alignment isn't good. Just because they can get it in spec for long enough to give you a print out saying it is, doesn't mean that there aren't failed parts. Lift your front end off the ground and try to wiggle a wheel while looking at your steering linkage.
  12. Nope, but only because the 94 is a WD21, and the 99 is a R50.
  13. I can take a pic of the real thing if you want?
  14. Cardboard is great for mock-ups! I still have a cradboard template around here somewhere for a T-case skid I designed.
  15. I always drain them by the lower hose, the "drains" are a joke.
  16. There are some from the 300Zs that are different.... For your truck anything 90-94 should be plug and play for you though.
  17. Just start cutting steel and welding it together, pretty much all I did for my 88's bumper. Just took a couple measurements and went to town. I based mine off measurements for a WARN 9k winch, then just built it leaving a gap for future winch install.
  18. Wasn't all that hard really, just sounds like a pain.
  19. Just checked, no pics of the drop going in. If you have a saws-all or grinder, just cut the stock lower mount off as flush as possible to the radiator support.
  20. You can use reducers to achive the right size if they don't match.
  21. The drop bracket requires you to cut off the stock bottom bracket and attach the bottom drop piece in place (IIRC there are 2 pre-drilled holes you can put self tapping screws through into the radiator support). Then the 2 "pegs" on the bottom of the radiator sit in that and the stud part goes through the 2 upper mounts and then just put the stock screws back in at the top. So, yes only 2 bolts hold the radiator. I'll see if I have any pics from the one I installed in a friend's Hardbody. Don't think I snapped any of that though...
  22. If you were to mass market sell them, yes. Making a few one-offs, they can't say/do anything about it.
