    My mother-in-law had a 94LE. It had chrome(bumpers/mirrors), and interior tire carrier. It also had just about every option otherwise besides LSD and rear disc.

    4lo is basically a crawler gear, if you need wheel speed, don't use it, use 4hi.

    I hate manuals in 4x4s, way to much clutch riding/burning. Not like I'm changing gears on an obsticle, and rarely even leave second on flats in the trail.

    They're great, the box where all the wiring goes is about 3"x1"x1", can hide it almost anywhere. I have the same CB in my 88.

    You would have to add more weight in structural bracing than you remove in making it a convertible, just to keep it from folding in on its self.

    Me too, the big piece of spinning metal on the back of the crank is a flywheel no matter what tranny you use behind it.

    Well, skipped teeth + low compression test probably means you bent a valve or 2. If I were you I would pull the heads and check the valves since you have the front tore down anyway.

    Mine has been on for 3 years. I bashed the sensor (it is on the bottom of the pinion on the rear diff) on a rock and haven't fixed it. I don't like ABS anyway.

    If you just can't get the screw driver into the head of the screw, use a rubber mallot to "tap" the driver into the head.

    Not carb unless it was custom converted, should be TBI (BTW if it is the V6 everything else is pretty much the same beyond the intake manifold on 87-95s). And no, ECU is not the same.
