  1. McMaster only carries up to 120mm in the 1.25 pitch.
  2. Didn't see that before, but you decide:
  3. Mine did that in the middle of winter last year, I just sprayed a bunch of PB blaster down the pull knob hole and it finally freed up.
  4. Yep. If you don't have a good bolt shop locally, try McMaster Carr.
  5. I wouldn't gas weld it... Pop-rivetting is OK, as long as you do seal everything up. For the outside (underside) you can layer regular paint then re-apply rubberized undercaoting over the paint. on he inside just put some paint on it to seal the metal.
  6. If you want something to paint over the rust, get POR15. Then apply bedliner over that if you want bedliner.
  7. Rough Country UCAs, Jeep Grand Cherokee or AC springs, and if you need them, Sway-Away Tortion bars. If you need new shocks, get Ranchos.
  8. True, and some people wonder why they go under....
  9. Yep, sounds like the alternator has given up the ghost.
  10. Exactly, get a 110v Lincoln wire feed Mig. You can get a good one for under $400 and be able to do what you need. No need for a stick welder or 220v for sheet metal.
  11. Pull the lever then get out and feel the lines (cables) going to the rear brakes, they should be taunt when the e-brake handle is pulled, if not, something is broken, or not assembled properly. I have broken 3 cables on my 88, it likes to snap em.
  12. If your bushings are shot on the panhard rod, it could be giving you the tilt, but after 2 years that should have resolved it's self and leveled out...
  13. Yep, unlike the 2wd Hardbody, they used the same suspension parts on both 2wd and 4wd Pathfinders. (I would skip the Calmini crap though.)
  14. Someone needs to remake the "Badgers" flash animation with "Bacon", can leave the "mushroom, mushroom", and change the "It's a snake" to "It's an egg"....
  15. Gotta know who to talk to and actually talk to them on the phone (vs online order form). My last order got delayed buy the manufacturer dragging their feet getting the parts to AC, but they still got the parts to me in time for my appointment for shop time I had. Don't know who is around these days but it used to be the only people I would deal with there were Jane, Mike, or Volrick.
  16. It was funny, the Maxima seats I put in my 88 were almost 6" wider, guess they figure there are more fat-asses buying Maximas. IIRC that offroad video that Ramon posted showed a quite large being able to get in and fit just fine in a WD-21.
  17. I weld 1/4" all the time with my 110v flux core, works good, takes a while if doing a lot of welds (crappy duty cycle), but it makes a fine weld. I just used it to reweld some hinges on a couple of 500lbs dumpster gates (steel tube with wood slats).
  18. Without digging into any manual or anything I would guess 1 of 2 reasons, either the starter needs less than 12V input to the selonoid, or it is there mearly as a noise reducer.
  19. TBI just has the injector in the TB, but MPFI have a TB at the opening to the intake manifold, after the MAF.
  20. You still have a throttle body with multi port injection . Sounds like the thermostat housing, and it is perfectly fine (actually better) to use RTV to seal it. Edit to add: They make RTV hot enough to seal exhaust systems, my 93's exhaust has no gaskets.
  21. Yep, actually the Pathys that came with 31s are adjusted so you can't turn as sharp (keep the tire from rubbing the frame). Both of mine came with the 28" tires so they had more turn in em. (Edit to add, they both have 31s now with no frame rub and the stock steering stop setting.)
  22. Same here, I had 2 broken in the head, one came out, the other ate the e-z out. I had a total of 4 broken, but the others broke with some stud outside the head to get e hold on.
