Thank you V6. They have somewhat different form than the stock and look more mug boggerish, but I like the fact that they are flexible rubber ! No point in the stock ones if all you do is tear them off. While they aren't the prettiest, they give the truck a more customised, off road dedicated look.Cool ! B

brake petal brake light switch stops (contacts)??? You got me !! I looked at my 95 and it seems that you could just plug the holes (epoxy, wood dowel formed for tight fit, etc) then adjust the switches for the right position. Seems like a simple fix. If you dont like that idea, go to the stealership and look at their microfiche,,, GL bud ! B

From what I have heard, replacing the timing belt is a PITA, mainly to get to it. Most people suggest replacing the water pump at the same time as it is darn near the same work. Kinda buying insurance if you know what I mean. I dont know what hourly rate this shop is charging, but about $400 seems appropriate. This is an estimate, but I'm sure people who have done it will agree. B

Yeps, my 95xe has the tire carrier, power mirrors, rear defroster/wiper which is not the 'normal' options for the xe I believe. It does NOT have trailer hitch, rear spoiler, roof rack, side bars, grill guard. These are generally easy bolt ons and can (maybe) found at junkyards, part outs, ebay and aftermarket. Good luck Bud. There it is... It doesn't matter if it is steel cable, chain or synthetic strap. You put 5000-10,000 lbs force in it and it lets go, it's going to whip crack something fierce. Only drawback to cable it that you dont have to be hit by a shackle, the thin diameter combined with the weight and rigidity can cut you real deep also. Whole point is caution, no matter how you do it. B

Yes, thats the name, I have a can or two. I'm not sure how environmentally friendly it is and it says to cover intake, distributor, carb, etc, "safe on MOST plastic and rubber" and "electrical connections may short". The only reason I have some is for the underside of the motor of an old VW (very goopy). B

My onboard air is a high volume hand pump... I think the biggest complaints about the little compressors is that they take for ever, although it is far better than nothing ! Notes about the one you listed. 0-35 PSI in 2 minutes... For what, just the line, a soccer ball or 33x12.5" tires ? Also, 35-45 psi could take 5 minutes. The higher the pressure the slower they go. Flow up to 2.543 (lol) cfm. I bet that is rated flow at 1 psi continuously. Not telling you not to buy it, just pointing out the incomplete information. Don't want you to get it and be pissed. As for hard wired compressors, can't help you there, but it seems simple to do. 88's CO2 tank seems like a good idea; you can always fill it with air also... B

Ok, I get that, but just consider me stupid. You never answered my Q. Whats the difference ? Is it a different lay out ? Does the printed one have a solid rectangular form and the die cut is just a stamped silhouette. Which is more durable ? Can you post a pict of the die cut version.
