  1. I've got the tools, just have to work out the logistical aspects. The wifes family lives in Anniston which is on the way...so I may could drop her and the kids at her dads and go on down to ya.... Is there a place where your located to get steel?
  2. Nice looking work by Tom's, that makes me want to do an exo on the old pathfinder. My front bumper is tube, but only the stinger was bent. Got a bit frustrated during design and decided to go back to basics. Everyone knows what a stinger looks like so no need for pictures. I will however upload and post some of the Toyota truggy we built this past year. The guy who "engineered" the exo is a genius.
  3. As for lumbar, its not so much the need to adjust, just simply that it feels like there is a giant hole your always about to fall through...
  4. I need to see if I can fix the lumbar in my seat. Heck I may just have it re stuffed with some good padding...
  5. Hey man, I am busy as crap most of the time, but need to take some vacation before I lose it... I am in middle TN, about 37 miles from the TN/AL border. Are you in Fort Rucker? Or in that area? I would be willing to come give you a hand...if we could work out the logistics...
  6. I am running lifetime warranty Durlast wires on my old Pathfinder. Done great so far, considering its not a top brand name... I ran some crazy 10MM wires on my Turbo'd civic back in the day, but it had one heck of a fire control system... it wast exactly necessary to have such massive wires....just cool looking I guess....
  7. It would be cool to see a boosted 4 cylinder 4wd pathfinder!
  8. I will probably tackle this temp gauge sender issue when I get the gauge pillar...
  9. Just found this thread... B did one hell of a write up on his trans temp gauge install thing... I will look for it... Good thoughts here man, glad you gave up smoking weed! JK
  10. Are you talking about the touch tek like this one:
  11. It doesn't matter anymore for me!!!! Wife sold the car today for payoff... SWEET!
  12. I agree. My intention is to run an oil pressure gauge, possibly a volt/amp combo gauge and transmission temperature gauge. Not really sure how much longer I will have my factory gauge cluster. It may be replaced with a piece of plate aluminum with aftermarket gauges of all kinds installed... Being that my tach has never worked nor has my fuel gauge or temperature gauge (accurately)....
  13. As a PSM at "another parts store" part time... I can vouch... This crap happens all the time. Usually some lazy jackwagon who doesn't want to do his/her job returns something as undamaged and does not even check the box... Some sly customer slipped out the part he or she needed then left the old junker in its place... Sigh. People suck.
  14. X5 on the FSM. I used to buy Chilton only because it was a great repair manual years back, but now they are as bad as Haynes... Besides... FSM is what the Factory Service guys use... I think. Hahaha...
  15. X2 on the question regarding the vg removal.... Not saying dont do it.... Just curious....
  16. I guess its a preference thing. For me I do not see the point in lifting a truck, then putting some $5000 chrome wheels and low profile "mud" tires on it.... Defeats the purpose.... But if your compensating for something... I guess it makes sense...
  17. Glad to hear she is okay brother!!! My youngest has been in the hospital past two days... happens this time of year with him... where he cannot breathe without help from a machine. Asthma... of some sort. And bronchittis yay. So youve got the mock up in hand... cool. Looks fantastic... I imagine they will just stretch some cloth over them and go fiberglass resin crazy.... Or was it a polymer plastic type molding thing? I can't recall... ahaha So yea... how does it fit? Any way to score pictures of that...?? Thanks for doing this by the way!
  18. Hey man, just found you on the member map... we live pretty close to each other. I will be selling most of my suspension lift stuff as soon as I get my SAS completed if you are interested in doing some swapping or buying it outright. Unless of course you already got your rig lifted....seeing as this thread is out dated....
  19. Well I just found this thread, 2 years too late... I did go and register with NOAS, hopefully some of the local guys and I can hook up and go for a ride...
  20. I would say it sounds like a ground issue... But I am running on no sleep...
  21. Interesting... Not my cup of tea, but to each his own. I dont see why you couldnt do it... May have to use a lower profile light similiar to the ones in that picture...
  22. Did it REALLY just blot out C O C K???
  23. Plenty of "**** trucks" around these parts. There is an Avalanche that looks simialr to that one, ugly truck. Dude painted all the suspension parts the same color as the body. Retarded.
