  1. read the ECU thread again.. i'm not talking about pulling codes.. run the other functions on your ecu.. as to the issue.. hmmm... double check the wire you fixed.. also check all connections related to it.. if your truck got swamped and this was just a wetness issue, this should have cleared up by now.
  2. did you ever pull the plugs after swamping it the other day.. i haven't read any threads about that. run the diagnostic modes on the ECU..

  7. some do some don't. you actually have to check. mine does but i switched T-case to GL. the engine needs not be revving but adle then you shouldn't have any grinding.. quick movement is it though. and OP, you ought to switch to 4lo way before you need it.. if it looks like you may have to have it.. when you're already stuck or in a bad position.. it's hard to switch the t-c sometimes.. and it could compromise your stance even more.

  12. my 89 had the 3 speed, for sure.. i think they changed them in '90. as to autotragic... without cooler mod they go kaboom around 100k mi or so.

  16. almost.. my light goes out only after the hubs have disengaged which is not immediately after shifting into 2wd
  17. in my auto tbi i got 20 on the hiway most of the time.. my best was somewhere where venges best was. in the manual efi 94 i don't think i ever got 18mpg

  19. put the cap on and see where #1 is. it's marked and should be where your first pic shows. that's how it is on mine.
  20. you may be right.. there are a few versions of G and maybe the shortys had bigger tires... there are very few G around these parts and all are like the gangsta' one above.
  21. i don't think lebanon is that flatly deserty. and i think it says qatar on the plate anyway.
