  1. yeah, never heard of one going prematurely.. most go about 2x the life expectancy.. before i have always used gates belts on all my cars.. i'm about to put on an autozone no name one though.. :D

  5. 2. that's the platform designation.. old pathfinders like yours and mine and the 2 doors are wd21 xterra is wd22 newer pathfinder is r50 the newest pathdinder is r52 3. make sure that you indeed have the aftermarket tranny cooler.. AT tend to die without it around 100k mi. these guys gave you the appropriate links.. there is a lot of good info here.. of course if you don't find it.. you're more then welcome to show us how it's done.. 66? i don't see why that should stop you unless the walker gets in the way. :D

  7. you can get the parts at autozone and other places as well as at the dealer.. it's all expensive any way you go.. best to do all three pieces but that probably a couple of hundred at least. it's been a while since i looked into it.
  8. it's either SE or LE. should be specified on the door tag.
  9. "fresh air" is basically air from the engine bay.
  10. hand brake light? hmm
  11. besides clutch, to bearing, pressure plate?. hmm... how's the fluid in the clutch?
  12. yeah GG, where are the pics man. i was about to say that no one here as done it as i surely don't recall any threads about this. good luck kali. if GG doesn't, you must up some pics.
  13. you know. there used to be a thread around here on taking the back seats off completely or the seat part anyway... i didn't find in the last doz minutes i looked.. you may have better luck. at one time there was also some talk about building up the floor.. maybe GG was one of the peeps?

  15. maybe open it.. and inspect the tiny wires.. although i think you said it was all dry.. hmm back to the MODES.. lol.. do that.. something may pop up..
  16. unplug it then plug it back in.. your symptoms match the maf idea.
  17. the throttle cable idea is definitely worth the quick inspection and lube.
