Impacts are nice, but I neve trust them or those torque sticks adman posted (they are only as good as the gun they are connected to). You can get a decent torque wrench pretty affordable (you don't need some fancy digital display that brushes your teeth while you tighten the lugs). It's a good investment and will come in handy when doeing some engine work as well if you start to get into it. And I torque my wheels at 95ft.lb. on my aluminums and 105 ft.lb. on my steelies

I think they exist, but your gonna be hunting down someones pre-owned set. Do you have factory flares as they could be an option and you can always sand the texture out of them and paint them as you would aftermarkets anyway to give them a non-stock look. Or of you don't mind working a little to get something to work take a day trip to a local pick a part yard that has at least 1 wd21 and start unbolting flares from other trucks you like, use the wd21 there to hold it up against and see if it fits the form/function you want and if it looks like an amount of work you want to do to get them on.

he no have torsion bars on that there caR50 and on that note, I am of no help. Someone should chime in soon enough though

how bad does that rattle against the bumper or do you have it hung in the rear with a hardmount hanger?

at full lock there's a good chance your binding up the cv joints depending on how sharp full lock is on your truck (not a r50 person) that would 'restrict' and cause the front wheels to 'resist' spinning.

Those adjustable ones definatly look to be lacking any angle correction, almost look like there is no angle at all in most of the pics to me As stated too, HB UCAs are what most of the people run on their wd21s equipped with aftermarkets. Frontiers from what I understand mount differently though so make sure your clear with adjustable arm man while getting info.

There's a couple people who completed an auto to manual swap... Dont remember of hand who (and ain't personally looking while on my phone) but a search should turn up some helpful info. Otherwise when doing a swap of the sorts I suggest having a doner vechile for all those simple odds and ends you not remember until rverythings torn apart

31s are a factory 'option' size, some had em some had smaller... Plenty of conversations about tire sizes all over the place but not the time or place here... as for wheel spacers, I personally ain't a fan... as stated you could have a good chunk set aside for a set of aftermarket wheels. There will be added stress on the wheel bearings from them (same could be said about wider wheels too though depending on backspacing).

Never even tried to point them towards the fenders to even see if they would fit that way personally

He could probably give a good "I like this but not that" analogy Problem with trying to compare is most people are pretty thickheaded to back up the particular platform they have (guilty. and if you look and see some of it that DOES go in, it's usually in good fun just poking at each other) but honestly the whole line have their pros and cons whether it be wd21s wd22s r50s r51s heck throw the pickups in there as well!

He's entitled to his opinion as well as anyone else. O.P. shared to get feedback and I'm sure he knows that there is gonna be positive AND negative. Most importanty though is he put time and effort to do his project in a clean correct manner, not just a quck and dirty hack and slap. Not only does it have some form to it, also carries a function that it seems he is rather satisfied with
