The way things are going, you won't be allowed to drive off road by then anyway.

Longer ebrake cable after lift, what have you used?
Citron replied to RCWD21's topic in General Forums
There are places online, try a Google search, lots of places pop up. If you had a longer one, you could put the cable closer to the body and away from the muffler right? Can you make some sort of heat shield? -

You can get custom length brake cables. I don't know the price, but someone on Pirate had some made for $75. -
An Xterra is more of the spirit of the pathfinder than the r50. Good luck with the mods.

That'll buff out.

I have become so used to the giant mirrors on my truck that the pathy ones seem like a handicap, especially when I have to back a half mile out of a trail. I hoped that the d21 or d22 had bigger mirrors that might bolt right on. Looks like I will need to do some research.
-
I go down a lot of abandoned trails, so I end up backing out until I can turn around. The rear window is partially blocked by the tire, and the side mirrors are so small they are almost useless. Are there any mirrors that anyone knows of that will bolt on and look stock. Do d21 have larger side mirrors?

Totally agree with Adam. They should have diagnosed the sensor before replacing. Just because the code says a certain sensor, that only means the ECM is not seeing what it expects from the sensor. It could be caused by anything in the sensor circuit, including the ECM. That is why a good mechanic will troubleshoot to verify faulty parts before replacing.

Careful, using a device while driving is illegal in Washington. Must be hands free. -

Fords had a large grommet that the wires for the ECM came through on certain models. Does Nissan use that setup, or do they have a bulkhead connection at the firewall?

And there is the problem. -
I have always read and thought it was non interference, based on internet knowledge, not personal experience. However, Slartibartfast is usually spot on, so I decided to do more research. It appears the vg33 in the quest minivan was the only non interference VG, the rest are all interference. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused, I am beginning to have very little trust of internet knowledge.

Timing belt is behind covers on the front of the engine so you can't see it. Luckily, the engine in yours is a non-interference engine, so it should be okay. There are lots of instructions on here for replacing timing belts, if your mechanical at all.

Fabbing a frame with full leaf sprung Dana 44's
Citron replied to SellOut's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
If your planning on selling the flat tops and Chevy hubs and rotors, let me know. Living an hour from the closet junk yard, I have a heck of a time getting them to call me back when I inquire about flat tops with Chevy 6 lug outers. It has kinda stalled my collection of parts for the SAS. -
Usually, for the small amount of wires needed for trailer brakes, you can shove them through one of the grommets that other wires go through.

Installed Pyle 5.25" speakers in the rear in place of the factory speaker boxes. I am going to need to bypass the amp to get them working, but ran out of time today.

Ah bench seat. What are the plans for the parking brake? Going to put it in the dash like the Autos? -
