  1. If its just the core support, drill out spot welds (there's a bunch!) and line up the new one. You can drill holes in the new support to match up with where you drilled out the spot welds and rivet it, but it'd be much better to just zap a bunch of little welds to hold it again.
  2. Does it look like you can slide something into it? Those keyed ignition security deals were pretty much the rage in the late 80's-early 90's.
  3. Make sure its not a spot weld on the bottom of the tank. Mine had what looked like something draining down the sides too, but it was a spot weld on the bottom. Pull the gas guard and you'll see it.
  4. Heck no I didn't mark it, I was happy it came off. First part ever thats been harder to remove from a junkyard than my Midwest transplant. I didn't think there was a difference either, but rob also said the parts numbers were different from left to right. I suspect that night be because of the bracket that holds the e-brake cable.<br />
  5. So here's a weird one. 94 5 speed. One of my trailing arms had a bushing that was pretty bad (the lower one on the axle side, I could grab the arm and move it side to side...the frame side wasn't as bad but had a little play) and the only Pathfinder in my Pick n Pull was a 88 which has the dog bone arms. Bushings looked good (wayyyy better than mine) so I grabbed it and installed it on my truck. No more grabbing it and moving it by hand. Initial drive around it felt better when turning, I could feel a little shift with the other one. Here's what gets me. Its fine from gears 1-3, but when I shift to 4th or 5th, I feel the axle "get loose" for lack of a better term for a brief second. Almost like a muscle car with a high powered motor would feel, if that makes sense. My old arm never did this with a destroyed bushing. Is there a front-rear marked on the arm? Obviously I need to change all my trailing arm bushings but if this is a easy fix I'd like to do it
  6. http://www.rockfordcv.com/rcvboot.htm<br /><br />I don't have these, but a few people on the forum seem to love them.
  7. Good to know, I'll check with them later today My bad, I was on another site, I'll try some of those distributors later when I'm not mobile.
  8. That looks like something I saw a couple weeks ago, that for the life of me I couldn't figure out what it was.
  9. I've been waiting for mine to die. Some Kragen battery that has a date of February 2003 on it that came with my truck.
  10. Those look like the ones in a install thread I found on the board. But like the few places I found, they aren't US based (they are in Australia) so shipping is a bigger killer. Looks like 4x4parts.com is my only hope. Thanks for looking man.
  11. I said track bar, I meant trailing arms. These are what I need https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfinder-split-design-trailing-arm-bushings-2pack-p-6247.html
  12. Since you are selling it, if you take them off, keep them around if you have extra room in case the buyer wants them.
  13. The obvious eyeball difference is that the 87-92 trucks have a different bumper than the 93-95. No idea if this matters. I've never seen one in a junkyard to even see how they mount up.
  14. So I've been doing a decent amount of wheeling lately, and I started to feel the shimmy of the rear end. Sure enough, my lower trailing arm bushing is toast. I imagine the rest aren't far behind, but I can grab the bar and move it side to side pretty easy on this one. Now from research the split poly bushings look way easier to put in, so my question is 4x4parts.com the only place that carries them? Their shipping prices are ludicrous. They seem to be the only place, but if somebody has a secret stash they know of, feel free to chime in.
  15. I think a lot of Pathfinder owners would be shocked to see the auto controls. WD21 anyway.<br />
  16. That's weird, my Chilton or Haynes has the ABS bled last. Never noticed the FSM procedure.
  17. The auto for the WD21 are sort of a rare thing, I've seen them in 93's more than any other year. I'm with everyone on it blowing a little at all times, but I'm not familiar enough with that to know it works like the manual version.
  18. It sounds like you have the auto climate control, correct?
  19. I have one Cardone and one Napa (which may be a Cardone?) on my truck (another screwed up Rockauto order I've had) and they've been fine through some pretty decent wheelin lately. You might as well get them installed same time, I did them when I was doing my ball joints as well.
  20. I don't have a pre cat. But yea, the pipe with the O2 sensor.
  21. I agree on the sticky. Some of the nastiest grease ever. But the only thing that would quiet my sway bar bushings. Mine doesn't smell either, maybe a bad batch?
  22. Yea my original plan was just pull the entire pipe from pick n pull. But it has to be a 94-95, and then it turns out my pick n pull just destroys most of the exhaust anyway pulling the cat. I need to buy a 300 dollar A/C commuter car for moments like this.
