Do you have the clear euro housings or are those the stock glass housings? Do you have a link to the kit on ebay?

I didnt buy mine new, I was just sort of estimating based off that window sticker.

There is a light in the center console? I want to see pics of that.

I have that one. I think my 94 2 wheel drive truck had it too.

Not trying to thread hijack, but my rear dome has never worked with a door or hatch open. Ive always had to manually turn it on. Is it supposed to work when any door or the hatch is open?

Anytime my local Pick n Pull has a newer-ish Hardbody added to the inventory finder, I'm looking for those. Nice find.

So I guess I have never seen one because according to the guy at Harbor Frieght, some California law made them remove that and some other "theft" items out of stores in my state. He remembers having them, but couldnt remember when they had to remove them from the shelf. He said they cant even sell those emergency hammer/seatbelt cutter emergency tools because of it. Go figure.

I have never seen such a set at my Harbor Frieght. But now that 2 people say it exists, I'm out the door to my local store.

I have seen that option, which I was ok with if it was one lug, but 3 of them made me I have pondered the cutting process with my grinder, but thats more of a last ditch effort since I am trying to save the threads.

My local dealer is satan. Yea, no tool bag came with it. The factory manual has a little piece of paper that says something about the vehicle coming with security lugs though. Which is helpful. Not.

Wow. So take away the 1259.00 for leather and 150 for Cali emissions, and thats probably about what my 94 cost when new. Im curious about what other vehicle classified under special purpose vehicle for that year got 28-29 MPG. 4 Cylinder Passport?

I've been wanting to take off my spare tire carrier to repaint it, so upon removing my spare tire cover I ran into this. Not one, but 3 security lugs on the spare tire. Peachy. Anybody have any tips or tricks to get them off easy? I made a half hearted effort with some vice grips, and a cheap Harbor Frieght nut breaker, no dice so far.

Replaced my clutch master and slave cylinder. Its amazing to have some firmness in my clutch now.

I'm assuming you mean the 1/2 drive on the inside is stripped out a little? Thats how mine was when I brought it home and started to change the diffs, transfer case etc. I tried PB Blaster, and even wrapped tape around my 1/2 breaker bar head so it would fit more snug. I started to think it was cross threaded to go along with the rounded off hole. Plus it had been tightend by a gorilla or a impact wrench. I finally gave up and took it to a local transmission shop. He spent 50 minutes using one of the biggest baddest easy outs I have ever seen, but he finally got it. Said it was the worst one he ever dealt with.I brought my new plug I bought from Nissan and my Redline, and he put the new plug in and changed out my fluid. I try not to admit defeat, but I happily gave him 30 bucks.

Went and looked at my buddies. Sure enough, it goes on the heatshield, replaces that bolt that is in the pic. Extra bolts for me!

Yea, I have tightend those. Its nothing major, it just seems to be coming from there, like through the unit itself. I had a 25mm on it and it was slightly too big, so off to Sears in the morning to buy a new socket. Thanks for the info.

Thats sort of what I figured. The bolt looks exactly like the ones already in the heatshield. So now I assume I missing a bolt somewhere, or the previous owner did some junkyard digging. I thought I remembered my 2WD KA Hardbody with a ground going to the heatshield, figured it might be the same on the Pathy.

What size is it? It looks doable with a deep drive socket, or am I incorrect? Easier to take off the tire and go at it that way? I believe mine is the cause of my slow oil leak, so I'd like to change it out. Thanks!

So I found this ground just kinda dangling. It comes from the body underneath the power steering pump bracket/holder, is it supposed to go to the exhaust manifold cover?

Installed my "Do it in a Datsun" license plate frame I have had laying around forever. "Nail it in a Nissan" doesnt have the same ring to it really.

My Pathy was like this when I bought it. The fuse was blown. The fuse on my 94 (and on my buddies 93) is actually not very factory looking at all. Its behind the battery, just a wire with a little black fuse holder. It honestly looks pretty ghetto for a dealer option, but maybe in the mid 90's thats the way things were done.

The above technique is the best way to really do thin sheetmetal. If you find the metal getting too hot, just take your time, or keep a wet towel around and apply it after you do a tack. Just continue to do little tack welds until it is basically a continuous bead all the way around. For a novice just beginning to weld, just get some scrap metal and practice, practice, practice. Welding is awesome when you get the hang of it, but sometimes its frustrating to understand until you burn through a couple spools of wire.
