  1. Seafoam is always fun! But i agree, you should do a video next time for some more eye candy
  2. It may just be me as it usually only happens when cold..but today, this morning when i got in the truck and started it up..it idled fairly high at 2500..i continued to do my chores about 5 mins later and it was still at 2500! I kicked the throttle and it went down to around 1500..then down to 1100. it wasnt really all that cold out..but this isnt the first time it's done this.. sometimes the idle will go up and down.. and not stop "searching"? Any ideas? Thanks! It's nothing critical yet, but i want to keep it from happening..
  3. Hmm..id hate to have to replace the cluster..anyone think it might be the speed sensor since I get codes on it and it disables my cruise? Thanks!
  4. Why are pathfinders the only one that'll beep annoyingly when a door is open? I never noticed it was something not standard until I tried on other vehicles..

Actually i LOVE it, im trying to say, shouldnt every car give you that error tone? It's saved me quite a few times when the passengers dont shut the door..

mine was in an accident when i got it, when i started pulling out the dents it made to much of a gap that the thing wouldnt stop so i removed the sensor....lol maybe now that i weld i might just put a flat new pc in and fix it...lol

  5. Taping the sink sprayer handle is a WIN!

  6. I didn't think the 1995 model's had a problem with the speedometer..but.. here goes. About a month ago, i noticed as i was accelerating..the speedo wasnt moving..stared it down and it suddenly jumped to where it was supposed to be..thought it was just a glitch, nothing serious, so i ignored it..well. Today, i noticed its getting worse, but slowly. several times today it wouldnt do anything, i tried hitting the dash, thinking it may be a loose connection, and nothing. It seems once it finally works, it works fine through the whole trip. BUT. I have always had speed sensor codes, which triggers the CEL...and it's actually stayed off for a while and has come back on..but to my understanding: The speed sensor runs to the dash, to the ECU.Right? I've done some searching and found the only Pathy's that seem to have the problem are the ones with the cable..so i know it's not that, as i have the round dash.. but..any ideas? Thanks everyone! It seems if everything stays working nicely something has to be rebellious and create a problem...
  7. No.please don't tel me I'm about to have speedometer problems...

  8. The art of winning: A Ford PowerStroke V8 pulls up at the redlights, constantly revving up, wanting to race..so you play into it and win on takeoff to the lane ending, and when you're fairly far ahead of them, taking it slow to about 57mph~ they fly past you at about 80 and a cop whips around and pulls them over. So does that mean i won twice?

No but the joke is on the PowerJoke.

  9. What makes you think it thinks the key is in and on? Dash lights or just beeping? My guess is that there is water in the light contact switch and its altering the lights to stay on W inhich turn would make the Pathy beep cox three lights are on... Just an idea. Hope this helps!
  10. That kid sitting in a beat up rusted buick, blasting out to seether and constantly revving his engine..yeah, he's cool... LOL

depends on the Buick, they aint all tan 2001 Centurys...

  11. Wired the headlights into each other so that one wouldnt work.... Restored to stock wiring and they work fine...i have NO idea why they even did that... Put a screw in a vacuum line instead of buying the 50cents in line to replace it... Left sunflower seeds in the center console... and left a 20$ under the driver seat!
  12. I could only see it setting off a knock sensor code if the exhaust started banging around.. and that's only because when i had a knock sensor code it was from a banging exhaust. Hope this helps!
  13. Pathy is so fun to drive...even if gas prices keep telling me not to..

  14. Didn't mean for it to take forever to reply, but, i stuck a flexible screwdriver up in the hole, pulled it out hard (to create a plunging effect) and it made a pop noise and spewed out water for around an hour and continued dripping for another 3 hours.. needless to say i think it had to pee, pretty bad, but thanks! I appreciate it.
  15. I use Gas Cubby for iPhone. A GREAT free app that also keeps track of oil changes! Though if you're on Android, i HIGHLY recommend aCar. Free/Paid, You get TONS of options on paid. it's a really amazing app.

  17. Centerlink time! ...tomorrow. and possibly finally the timing belt...

  18. Alright so now I have a bigger problem.. When it rains it POURS (no pun intended) out water when I turn left. To the point of soaking the carpet.. Any ideas what this could be? It's actually getting pretty serious and I'm worried it'll be hitting the ECU next.. Thanks!
  19. Wow, im glad i didnt overlook it, thank you! I'll be sure to check this out tomorrow! (i would today, but..work calls...) I appreciate it! I didnt think it was anything to be concerned with, but i noticed that little hose piece..
  20. So..i'm going down the road and i hear this loud sizzling noise..like..cold hitting hot, or cold getting frozen, etc. i got curious and did a circle, and looked in the passenger side and noticed water dripping on the passenger side floor board..meanwhile the A/C is still properly charged, all fluids are still good and A/C is still cold. Is it just condensation? or something serious? I was thinking something along the lines of a drain hose being possibly clogged, but i'm not sure... Thanks.
  21. Storage compartment under rear seats? Storage compartment under rear seats!

  24. No blown fuses, and yes, we did a vacuum test on it, my bad. Did the test at school for 3 hours (i think it was set to -25psi) and the gauge never rose. I will say, since i have it wired across the terminals of where the relay plugs in, my A/C switch works, it just doesnt light up. It's obvious when it's on though.
  25. When properly charged, Pathy's A/C can really freeze you out..geez..
