  1. Installed it today. Fits perfect, should strengthen things up quite a bit... Now for a 2WD hardbody center-link swap to rid myself of my loose center-link.....
  2. Tungsten is right. You can use a smaller spare on the rear but only in an open-diff truck. I would personally always rock a full size spare though...
  3. thanks guys! can't wait to throw it on tomorrow. and yes grease fittings = win!!. im thinking with new oem idler bushings, plus the brace and grease fitting, this thing should last a while! and yes this was with a tiny 110v flux core arc welder. hard to get clean welds, but they are fine once cleaned up a bit.
  4. Yeah make sure to post some pics up of the proper setup with re-tapped adjusters to use the pathy outers. i wanna see what it looks like all said and done properly. thanks!
  5. Just thought I would sneak this last pic in of how my pathy is sitting now after the lift, tires, vg33e swap, exhaust, etc.
  6. Hey everyone. Just thought I would post up the idler arm brace I made today. In the vein of calmini but more custom to fit the grease nipple on my idler arm. I only have a dinky little 110v Lincoln flux core welder so the welds aren't too pretty but it is plenty strong, and fitment is bang on. Plus the steel only cost me 6$ and I still have enough left overs to make my rear bumper lift brackets to lift it up 3" to match my body lift.
  7. cool. im from the island but moving to the mainland soon. request sent
  8. This is what I did in a few hours this morning. Not perfect and my welder sucks (120v licoln flux core), but it should do the job and the welds are strong anyways. Fits absolutely perfectly. Should brace it quite nicely.. Worth the 6$ piece of steel i bought for it. Also put new oem nylons in the idler. had to cut a clearance hole in the plate as there is a grease nipple right there.
  9. Just finished my custom idler arm brace. similar to calmini but perfect fitment and cost me 6$ to make. :)

  10. definitely start with the o2 my friend. it is the most likely culprit.
  11. I don't live over in the rocky mountains but I do live in BC on Vancouver Island and we have plenty of mountains here as well!! I would say jump on it man. You probably won't leave... It's the most amazing place to live that you could imagine... No joke!! It's the most beautiful place in the world to me. Some of the things I have seen in the scenery here are just plain surreal! Enjoy it!!! The people are friendly, it's comfortable. We like to party too. p.s. TONS of great wheeling EVERYWHERE lol
  12. Also just to clarify. I would be using the: WD21 OUTER TRE - WD21 ADJUSTMENT SLEEVE - HB INNER TRE - HB CENTERLINK in that order. Then I am going to tap the inside facing edge of the adjustment sleeve to 18mm. The HB inner tre end can then thread into the inner side of the WD21 adjuster. Am I correct?
  13. Thanks for the update, let us know how the abuse goes when you take it out. I will make my decision to grab this setup after that!
  14. Okay im trying to figure out which parts to use so i can install a steering damper with the 2wd steering links. i went to nissan and the frame pin for the 2wd hardbody and 4wd pathfinder have different part numbers but look very similar in picture. can someone with both center links take a measurement of the placement of the steering damper mount on the 2wd hardbody center link?? i want to know which steering damper and which frame pin will need to be used with this setup..
  15. looks great man. very clean. love the oem lights in the bumper. i also would have threw a winch in there though!!
  16. Awesome.. This seems like the perfect option to complement my custom double shear idler arm brace. Should handle the abuse of 33x12.5 with ease after this!!
  17. Awesome dude I had no idea krypton was based in alberta! I am in BC and have a friend who desperately wants to lift his pathy and run 33s. This looks like the perfect option!!
  18. I thought that by cranking the torsion bars you increase their effective spring rate? That would make up for any extra weight unless the bars were worn out. Am I wrong?
  19. Well how was it running with the old motor? Was it running rich then? Did you use your old 02 sensor? Are you sure you didn't miss any electrical connectors or grounds? Has it had any tune up? Did you do the spare plugs, and check the cap and rotor for corrosion when you put in the new motor? How is the fuel filter?
  20. Okay back home to the island. Goals for next few days: Finish reinforcing idler arm, finish welding up a double shear idler arm brace. Figure out how to mount the rear tire carrier I just got, mount new front full bull bar front guard with light guards (think maybe from an r50). Also looking for new lift springs. Need more lift! to go 5.9 JGC or 3" lift cherokee springs. Anyone know how long the 3" lift cherokee springs are??? 20 inches would be ideal...

  21. Well this is pretty freakin sweet. I must say. I might have to try this hybrid system out... Why didn't Nissan use this system instead of the one natively used? Seems strange to me if it keeps the tie rods at a better angle and is a stronger system than the 4wd version. ... I am running 33s now and am in the process of beefing up my IFS... keep updated with how this thing works and how it handles the abuse on your main rig!!
  22. Haha one last thing. I have a 1990 na z32. Anyone know if it has the removable eprom or is it only the tt that has it??
  23. Also does the m30 ecu have to be wired in? Or do the pathy electrical plugs fit the m30 ecu??
