  1. I already swapped in the r50 vg33e and made r50 accessories work in my wd21, interior is next hehe.
  2. Awesome, can't wait!! My CL is already getting loose frofrom my 33s lol.
  3. I love threads like this... more great junkyard parts!!!!! I am doin a round dash swap soon and r50 seats and center console would just complete the interior. If there's any update on r50 seat fitment, then keep us posted....please!
  4. I love that truck!!! Long travel 4wd is where its at. I would totally keep ifs if I could get 12 inches of travel Haha
  5. I like my option better. Use rims with a wider offset and cut your fenders up. I can flex out my 33x12.5 duratracs HARD and i have no rear sway and 3" longer shocks with v8 cherokee springs.
  6. Installed my custom made idler arm brace and went wheelin' to test it out!!! Awesome day of win. lol
  7. Awesome and you are threading out the adjusters to use the proper outer TRE correct??
  8. Wow I just tested it out on some trails and mud pits tonight. I wasn't expecting such a difference!!! I had a LOT of bump steer offroad before my wheel would jerk all over the place when i hit even smaller bumps. I'm runninjg 33x12.5 tires on 15x10 steel rims with a lot of offset so I'm sure that has something to do with it. Well after putting in the new idler arm bushings(the old ones weren't all that bad) and added the brace, my thumb-abusing steering wheel is NO MORE!! There is still a bit of jerking over bigger bumps and stuff but it smoothed out a HUGE amount of it. Like going through rutted tracks with minor bumps my wheel doesnt even MOVE anymore, it stays solid and comfortable and controlled. Only the bigger rocks and bumps will shove it sideways on me and that is much less violent than before. The steering actually feels tighter too? I really didn't think it would make such a difference!! I think after a steering stabilizer it will almost be comfortable to wheel it!!! LOL
  9. yeah its "cast" finish. its the only paint I had at home and i wasnt about to spend 10$ in gas for 5$ of black paint. Just something to keep the rust off for now, I can always change it later, only takes me 5 mins to take it in and out. lol.
  10. Installed it today. Fits perfect, should strengthen things up quite a bit... Now for a 2WD hardbody center-link swap to rid myself of my loose center-link.....
  11. Tungsten is right. You can use a smaller spare on the rear but only in an open-diff truck. I would personally always rock a full size spare though...
  12. thanks guys! can't wait to throw it on tomorrow. and yes grease fittings = win!!. im thinking with new oem idler bushings, plus the brace and grease fitting, this thing should last a while! and yes this was with a tiny 110v flux core arc welder. hard to get clean welds, but they are fine once cleaned up a bit.
  13. Yeah make sure to post some pics up of the proper setup with re-tapped adjusters to use the pathy outers. i wanna see what it looks like all said and done properly. thanks!
  14. Just thought I would sneak this last pic in of how my pathy is sitting now after the lift, tires, vg33e swap, exhaust, etc.
  15. Hey everyone. Just thought I would post up the idler arm brace I made today. In the vein of calmini but more custom to fit the grease nipple on my idler arm. I only have a dinky little 110v Lincoln flux core welder so the welds aren't too pretty but it is plenty strong, and fitment is bang on. Plus the steel only cost me 6$ and I still have enough left overs to make my rear bumper lift brackets to lift it up 3" to match my body lift.
  16. This is what I did in a few hours this morning. Not perfect and my welder sucks (120v licoln flux core), but it should do the job and the welds are strong anyways. Fits absolutely perfectly. Should brace it quite nicely.. Worth the 6$ piece of steel i bought for it. Also put new oem nylons in the idler. had to cut a clearance hole in the plate as there is a grease nipple right there.
  17. Just finished my custom idler arm brace. similar to calmini but perfect fitment and cost me 6$ to make. :)

  18. definitely start with the o2 my friend. it is the most likely culprit.
  19. I don't live over in the rocky mountains but I do live in BC on Vancouver Island and we have plenty of mountains here as well!! I would say jump on it man. You probably won't leave... It's the most amazing place to live that you could imagine... No joke!! It's the most beautiful place in the world to me. Some of the things I have seen in the scenery here are just plain surreal! Enjoy it!!! The people are friendly, it's comfortable. We like to party too. p.s. TONS of great wheeling EVERYWHERE lol
  20. Also just to clarify. I would be using the: WD21 OUTER TRE - WD21 ADJUSTMENT SLEEVE - HB INNER TRE - HB CENTERLINK in that order. Then I am going to tap the inside facing edge of the adjustment sleeve to 18mm. The HB inner tre end can then thread into the inner side of the WD21 adjuster. Am I correct?
  21. Thanks for the update, let us know how the abuse goes when you take it out. I will make my decision to grab this setup after that!
  22. Okay im trying to figure out which parts to use so i can install a steering damper with the 2wd steering links. i went to nissan and the frame pin for the 2wd hardbody and 4wd pathfinder have different part numbers but look very similar in picture. can someone with both center links take a measurement of the placement of the steering damper mount on the 2wd hardbody center link?? i want to know which steering damper and which frame pin will need to be used with this setup..
  23. looks great man. very clean. love the oem lights in the bumper. i also would have threw a winch in there though!!
