A stock alarm uses the stock horn AFAIK.

Check your headlight switch...even with relays it could be corroded or dirty inside, causing the contacts to give poor performance or none at all.

Sure, easy for you to say with your 100+ levels already and better @!*% than I have...I can't beat ANY of the guys I've tried. My advice is that you likely don't need new t-bars unless you have a heavy front end with a winch bumper or winch. Stock t-bars work fine. Re-index them if you need more lift. I've run stock t-bars for years after reindexing with no problems.

Shocks don't have anything to do with ride height...

New flashers are only $5 or so. Try that, maybe. It shouldn't freeze up if one bulb isn't working. Electronic flashers are a bit more expensive but they always flash at the same rate, unlike thermal flashers.

HID's aren't just bulbs. They need ballasts to produce the high voltage that HID's require to produce light. HID's are arclights, much like a welding arc. Electricity at high voltage passes between two electrodes gapped precisely far enough apart to produce the desired light. Standard bulbs use filaments that heat up and produce light when current is passed through it. Totally different animals. Um...try your local library for an auto electrical book? You can figure out the spring rate by measuring the overall height, coil count and wire thickness. I Googled for a spring rate calculator and got a few.

I hate to tell you this, but the only factory service manuals for a 87-93 are all on paper, no digital copies. There's never been a downloadable copy. Someone would have to take a copy and physically scan each page to make a downloadable version.
