  1. The interval wiper control assembly is attached to the wiper motor under the hood, take a look at that perhaps.
  2. How do the rears work after servicing? If they're not up to par the front brakes have to take up the slack. Stopping a car with only the front brakes can take a toll on the rotors.
  3. No such thing, unless your hubs don't work.
  4. You might take a few minutes and see if you can gain access by pulling the rear bumper off. I don't believe the frame is capped at the end, but then again it's been a while since I looked.
  5. Stock height? I suppose it would depend on where it's currently sitting. My advice is to crank 'em up to where you want it and get it aligned. Just don't let the UCA's ride on the bumpstops, your ride will be pretty harsh and you won't have any downward travel left. You can crank the front end up between 2-3" usually. A good rule of thumb is to leave about 1/2" between the UCA and bumpstop. CV's shouldn't make any noise on a WD21 in 2WD. They don't spin. Nissan has some funky angle measurements to make to determine stock ride height. SE's supposedly sat about 1" higher than XE's if that helps.
  6. It doesn't show anything in my FSM. I'd bet you at least $2 it's glued on. The damn t-case knob was on mine.
  7. FAST is Nissan's parts and details lookup program. You can enter your VIN and see what options were equipped along with exploded diagrams of assemblies and whatnot IIRC. Dunno if there's more than one version out...
  8. Drag-style line lockers are for brake fluid, not air. Not too sure that'd work. I have a lever-type lock from out of a bucket truck. One day I'm building a fail-proof e-brake. My e-brake sucks ass.
  9. Do you need to take out the whole thing or did you just want to remove the plastic handle from the lever?
  10. Oh crap. You didn't remove the shaft when you did the lift? I bet something inside the column came apart. When I did the BL on Rami's Pathy, I had to tack-weld a piece of pipe to the shaft and beat the everlovin' piss out of it to get it to move. Those things are a TIGHT FIT.
  11. I unplugged mine and capped all the lines to it. Runs about the same.
  12. Doesn't do any good. Trying to manually downshift if it's spinning the tires will sometimes let it go down a notch but usually not. Usually it just bogs down so bad that it downshifts, bogs down again, downshifts and just goes until I'm stuck with the tires dug in.
  13. I'd really have to look at a few to see. AFAIK it was 93-95 for the electronic speedo. Could be wrong.
  14. 95HardbodyV6 on the AC forum. He lives near Lacey in WA IIRC.
  15. Certain situations call for more RPM's at a range that the auto simply will not allow you to put it into. Like in sand. Going up a hill, it simply peters out and bogs down until it quits moving. Pisses me off BAD.
  16. The internal body braces that the hinge bolts screw into are a REAL pain to get in. I tried once, the uppers will go but the lowers...AFAIK the lower hinge brackets are spotwelded in and you can't get them in without cutting them up or bending sheetmetal. Some people have done it, though.
  17. That was on Les's truck. He has a one-off steering setup with Heims and spherical bearings. My steering was from L&P when they were in business. Hoohaa makes a damn fine centerlink replacement just like the L&P guys used to make, get in touch with him for more on that.
  18. Ball joint spacers can damage stock UCA's. They are bad. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=2598
  19. Pathmaker1: BJ spacers are not the way to go for longevity. They'll twist or crack your stock UCA's. You need body lift if you really want to clear those tires on anything other than a parking lot. Go offroad, do some articulation and you'll tear your front fenders a new one.
  20. Bad headlight switches are a VERY VERY common problem.
  21. I was involved in several discussions over on NOR trying to figure out what could be done with those. The initial general consensus was that they would fit a WD21 OK, but Pat300ZX tried installing them on his WD21 and they wouldn't fit. I was greatly disappointed. Has anyone else gotten these on a WD21? IIRC they were originally designed for the Fronty/X.
