That's why you have to swap the ring and pinion gears out of your Pathy to make it work.
-
Take the hubs off and check those first...

You *could* run 33's with a 2+2, but they will rub unless you aggressively trim the fenders. I ran 33x10.50's with just the 3" body lift and cranked t-bars for quite a while till I got the suspension lifted the way I wanted it.

Re-adjust the steering stops.

Searching "locker" in All Forums, for the past 180 days and newer, in thread titles only(not the entire post)...I get 8 returns that are pertinent. You gotta USE the search function. Heh. You can also search back further, if you want more.

When you use the defroster, the AC IS on. It works that way to take moisture out of the air and de-fog the windows.

I like the Lock-Right just fine. It unlocks around corners unless you give it gas and I've never had a problem with it otherwise. It's a fine upgrade in my opinion.
-
The centersection and ring/pinion is what gets swapped, not the entire case and housing. That's the only option we have besides the ARB or welding it up.

By the way, if anyone EVER has concerns about the forum, be it virus-related, member-related, post-related or function-related, please let me know so I can work on it. I am available on AIM some of the time under the SN "TomKzinti" or "x88pathoffroadx". My email address is 88pathoffroad@gmail.com. Thanks.

What happened is this: due to old (unupdated) forum software that is fairly unsecure, someone from Russia repeatedly used a hacking program to plant an iframe script in the forum's HTML coding (in different places each time) that gave everyone a virus or Trojan when any page was loaded. The reason we have had no updates is that we're running a free version of Invision Power Board. The paid version (the upgradeable vcersion, I might add) costs around $200 and Jim has enough bills to pay without trying to worry about upgrading the forums. There are mods, security upgrades and GOOD hacks available for this software, though. I CAN upgrade and hack-proof things, given access to the base files hosted in IPB's server. I simply have not had access to anything BUT the forum software "in situ" since Jim left and never got around to giving me the username and password needed to access the base files. Anyway, after deleting the code for the virus three times, the hacker got smart and stuck the code somewhere I couldn't get to. It was ABOVE the HTML header at the very beginning of the HTML that loaded every page and I was unable to eliminate it on my end, so I called up IPB and they got 'er taken care of. Shortly thereafter the skin info file(the info for colors, fonts and text sizing) somehow lost all info and couldn't be read by the forum software, resulting in an error message and no forum accessibility EXCEPT for the Admin command post. I contacted Jim, who contacted IPB again to see about getting it fixed, but the emails crossed paths and nobody got around to doing anything. I finally got fed up with the waiting and started messing around with the skin file options, which I was rather hesitant to do in the first place because I'm unfamiliar with this forum software and didn't want to mess anything else up even further by experimentation... I started looking through the options for skins and decided it wouldn't hurt to create a new skin based on the old one, with no mods. So, I created it, set it as default skin for the forum and voila, it worked. I about fell out of my chair! Good times! I'm glad you all like the forum so much. Hell, if I didn't like it it'd probably still be down...but I do! I apologize for the down time and promise to do my best to upgrade and keep things going smoothly. It doesn't look like Jim is going to take much interest in it anymore, but he's still alive. He even gave the IPB people implicit instructions to allow me complete and total access to the site(minus HIS site, nissanpathfinders.com)...which means that I can FINALLY install security upgrades, possibly more smilies(I know Slick and Pezzy will love that), and other things to make the forum more useable and functional. Thank you very much and welcome back, everybody! Have fun!

Take the hub off and have a look. I can't diagnose noise problems over the internet, you know?

Grind it down!

I lost two studs on one front wheel a while back. Had a shop replace them cause I was working away from home.

In the rear on the passenger side behind the wallpanel. Gold-anodized box with three mounting legs.

No sound out of the drivers door speaker
88pathoffroad replied to zack1978's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Check the speaker's wiring before guessing anything else. I've had terminals snap off on me before cause the wiring was pulling on it to begin with. -
You have to disassemble the hub and brakes, take out the bearings and remove the rotor. IIRC.

The revolution sensor isn't connected or working right, I would think. Check your TCU error codes, there's a stickied post in the Garage on how to do that. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=1580

Yes, but you'd save $10 by getting it from Summit. That guy wants $20 for shipping.

tranny cooler Q's - mounting height/orientation?
88pathoffroad replied to gxl90rx7's topic in General Forums
It doesn't, but by disconnecting the hoses and putting both ends into a bucket then bumping the starter quickly, you'll see real quick which one is which. -
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...15&autoview=sku $34.95, comes with 96 inch hoses and fits Nissan 2.4, 3.0 and 3.3 engines with the included adapters. Nice, huh?

I scored a grey S-10 Blazer ceiling datacenter/overhead lights deal just like that. It has OnStar and Homelink buttons, but I bet I could use those as switches for lights, etc.
-
Some Pathys have a switch under the dash in front of the driver or even one in the dash on the left or right. It's also possible that the previous owner just took out the switch and never got around to replacing it...

I'm not sure when they went to the remote-controlled alarm on the factory setup. Can anyone with a 90, 91 or 92 confirm having a remote?

Serpentine belt, accessory belts as needed. Thermostat. That's about it.
