You just need a manual trans from a 4WD, the t-cases are all the same.

I'd call and make sure they actually have some before even considering it. SLR is famous for selling stuff they don't have on the shelf and then waiting months before getting them made.

It shouldn't start off in 2nd. That's not standard practice for nay transmission I know of.

Wash it out after getting it muddy. I've had my current alternator in for at least a year with no problems.

Totally different setups. The Calmini CL is steel stock welded together and the L&P is a stock CL with the jointed sections notched out and spherical bearings and sleeves welded in.

Mine takes 80-90 gear oil for the t-case. Says so in the FSM. It depends on the year, not which transmission you have.

I have the same CB, a Uniden Pro 520XL. Mine's stuck to the underside of the dash under the stereo cause I have the short dash with no cubbyhole underneath. There is a resistor you can pop out of the circuit board for "more power", but IMHO it didn't do a damn thing for mine and I have no assurance that it didn't actually hurt performance either. 4 watts is the legal limit unless you want to hook up a linear or stereo amp for some REAL heat. Google it sometime. You don't want to drill a hole in your roof for an antenna, it'll bend the hole and waller it out in rapid order after you go through a few drive-throughs or parking garages. Then it'll leak and you'll have a caved-in hole and a floppy antenna. Do you have the spare tire carrier? Bolt it onto that and run a short ground wire to the body. Make sure your body grounds at the battery are good and it should be allright. The L-bracket on the edge of the hood works very well also. Mine is on my roof rack.

Drop the front diff as a whole, crossmember and all. The oilpan will hit it and make it a real PITA on the way out.

How's your steering? A shot CL and tie rods or idler arm would make it pull one way or the other in 4WD.

Most likely a CV, but it sounds like you need some steering parts too.

They went from 27 spline in 87-89's, to 28 spline in 90+. Unless you're outside the US and have a 4-cylinder 4WD.

I scaled it down to 1000 wide. How's that? I know lots of laptops max out at 800x600, but most people have at least a 17" monitor nowadays running at least 1152x864 or so. Ideas?

There's a fuse for that. Mine's labeled "Clock/Room Lamp".

Not having a pic of the aforementioned setup in front of me doesn't help, but could you drill the old ones out, re-tap and install studs? Individual taps are pretty affordable and studs are too.

The other 8 bolts should keep it from rattling, perhaps your rattle is coming from another source. Check everything underneath, get under there! IIRC, they're 14mm x 1.5 thread pitch. I can doublecheck if you need the info.

Google it...there's more than one description on how to bleed brakes out there.
