  1. just grind away.. eat the money..
  2. should be under 800 for emissions test.
  3. the part is 100 bucks US, easy to change, they are related.. as they are part of your exhaust and emissions system.
  4. got the blinging 38 x 12.5 x 15 TSL/SX on custom beadlocks.
  5. yes, thats the naches trail system up there. search naches trail for washington, all kinds of information. however, i heard that its closed right now.. call the ranger station to confirm.
  6. aluminium will strip before the steel, if you stripped steel, i feel the worst. hope that i'm worng.. but.............
  7. do you have a shrowd on your fan / rad?
  8. a 1 ton ford front end is worth 12-1500 bucks alone. if its a 1 ton front end.. it IS from a ford cause they are the only ones with the drivers side drop. the rear end is worth no more than 500. mind you, these are all FACTORY. if it has gears, which it must or it woldn't move with the 3.73 gears, it would be worth more. If it has say,4.56 gears or so, and lockers and 1 ton axles.. 3k just for axles is a good price..
  9. well, when you pick one.. sent the other to me.. i need a new grill
  10. didi say you couldn;t do it in 7.8? no i didn't i said you couldn't do itin 4.. so unwad your panties.
  11. ya, on a scok wd21, you have to pull the torsion bars, cross member and posibly exhaust. the last one i did we coldn't pull the tranny back cause the top hit on the firewall, and the bottom caught on the cross pipe. we ended up removing it from teh manifold on 1 side, and cutting it ont he other side. then i welded it back together when we were done.
  12. 4 hours on a wd 21. complete BS. i can do it on mine in about 4 but i don't have to remove all the ifs stuff. if you ONLY do the pressure plate.. your a dumb ass
  13. if its got tons front and rear, its worth 3k
  14. you need to find out what he did to the clutch. did he replace the friction disk did he replace the pressure plate did he resurface the flywheel did he replace the pilot bushing did he replace the throwout bearing? I know a stock kit for a 3.0 is 200 bucks (approx) and another 30-40 for getting the flywheel resurfaced. if he did all this, the clutch should be good for a long time. and if he needed to change the clutch at only 95k.. he needs to learn how to drive a clutch. the centerforce is not necessary
  15. i had a nissan tech tell me, and i quote "i've seen them worn out after over 250k miles.. but i've never seen a nissan cluth FAIL." I havn't either
  16. i've done several of them and it takes all weekend in a wd 21. i'm betting these are a little bit easier. don't waste your money on a centerforce clutch. I'm on #2 clutch at 365K. i put the second one in 3.5 years ago, i've smoked it several times and still no problems. I'll guarantee i put my clutch through more abuse than most.
  17. you can see 20 mpg. its not unheard of, but you can't drive like a jackass
  18. if you have a 6 bolt pattern, then go with a D300, Chevy, dodge, jeep NP205, NP203, np 208, np 241..etc. dana 20..... T18, much cheaper, hell i bought a servicable d300 here in the states for 250 bucks. Just check the spline count, most D300 and others are 23 spline i wouldn't tell you to use them unless you could.. I know that patrol axles are right hand drop (your drivers side, our passengers side)
  19. as far as i know, atlas only makes it to go to a chev tranny to the nissan case. a better more cost effective way would to be put a Dana 300 out of a jeep behind it. does your C6 have a 6 bolt round patern? if so, deffinatley go this route
  20. that is the kind of @!*% that makes me mad. why do i get crap up in the woods, but they can drive around like that all day too. I saw a cop on a new motor cycle the other day, rear blinkers were about 10" apart. did you know that they have to be 18" apart? or all them motor cycles that have no rear fender.. or a lifted super duty or.... but i get crap on the gravel road next to the orv park.
  21. not just mud flaps, the wheels have to be covered too. so when you see a bobtail truck going down the road, and there is no cover OVER the wheels, and only mud flaps behind.. yes he is ILLEGAL.
  22. mud flaps have to cover half of the tire. this is correct. your tires cannot be more than 2" outside the body line, and fender flares don't count as body lines.. even though the new jeeps have like 8" flares. technially, they are illegal. all the laws are outdated and need to be reviewed. by law 90% of all motor cycles these days are illegal. and whenever you see a semi truck going bobtail down the road, 90% chance he's illegal too.
