  1. re-check the timeing. the smallest bump can cause bad fuel economy

  3. If you go to Autozone.com and put in your vehicle specs and search for sway bar bushings.. they come up.
  4. joy, bent valves... have fun, they are not cheap.
  5. open diff. rotate tire 2 times, count the times the pinion rotates. If it rotes just under 4.5 its going to be the 4.3 if it rotates just over 4.5 its going to be the 4.6. If you have a locker, rotate it 1 time on the wheel, not 2. JP

  10. he has a TBI pathy, not a MPFI pathy.. i promise its the aiv crap.
  11. actually, the missing smog pump will cause it to fail at low rpm. thats what is wrong with mine. im golden at top end, low end.. NFG. air box, solenoid and switch.
  12. the big problem of GL4 and GL5 is the addatives. alot of the GL 5 oils have phosphorus anti whear properties.. this is BAD news for soft metals. I use GL 6 in my tranny. and YES its OK.. it does not have the adatives that make things go all bad on ya. (it works out to be SAE 150 ) I also use 80/90 in my T- case.. NO worries there. Don't put ATF in those things, they only did this on some of them. there is no reason to. If you stay with Dino oil, use pensoil Syncromesh. and put the same thing in your t-case. and unless your me, use 80/90in your diffs. I use 85/140 in my diffs, but thats a whole nother can of worms. (aftermarket diffs)

  14. i checked prices and yukon 4.88 are 100 bucks cheaper than the ones you speced. there is hte price of your install kit or new carrier.
  15. you won't event know the difference between teh 4.88 and a 4.89 in addtion, i'm willing to bet thats a typo. I have never seen a 4.89. and they name every other gear set made by spicer except the 4.88. anyway....
  16. Looks pretty good, You might want to re-think your hydro steering setup though. you want your links to be straight at FULL lock. if not, you'll wear yout that cylinder in NO time.
  17. lift it, measure the centerline,, decide for yourself.

  19. HOLEY @!*%! Jared was a good friend of mine. i don't even know what to say...... He was supposed to go wheeling with me this past weekend, but called and canceled..
  20. I call BS on teh o2 sensor.. I know people who don't even have one. When i changed mine all it did was help emesions.. and it was nothing but a ball of rust and not doing anyting.
  21. If your going through the trouble.. don't put a carb on it.. at least get a 350 TBI.
  22. Hmm.. I thought total chaos only made them for the 2wd... if they are for 4x4.. its relatively new.
