  1. The part I'm concerned about is to the left of the shock, I don't think you can see it in the pic very well but there is a big gap there. I'm worried a stick or something could snag that and rip it off. Also, the tie wrap to the axle just looks like crap. Here is the other side, for comparison. Wow, my truck has like no rust underneath. Wonder why THAT brake line had to be changed. Oh ya, I'm an idiot for taking my 500 dollar camera out in THIS weather.
  2. Like others have said, just drive it easy, keep it in tune, and get RID OF THE JUNK IN THE TRUNK! Although, today i got my best mileage in a month, with a computer, monitor, a stereo system, 3 people in the pathy and the a/c on the whole time I always get the best mileage when I'm not staring down at the fuel gauge
  3. Ok, I will get a pic of it in the morning, but I wanted to give some background tonight while it was fresh in my mind. My brakes were loosing fluid, so I made an appointment at the shop where my parents go all the time, and they usually do great work. I get a call about halfway through my day, and am told that they replaced a wheel cylinder and the drivers side hard line on the axle. I pick up the truck and all is fine, and still is, but I am a TAD concerned. I was in a friends car, and when he pulled up to my place behind my truck I noticed something kinda hanging down. Upon further inspection, it turns out that instead of getting the PROPER hard line for my truck, they just took a piece of generic brake like (new of course) and shaped it along roughly to what the old one looked like, and TIE WRAPPED IT TO THE AXLE. From what I can see, if I were to go even on some mild wheeling, a branch or something could catch the line and rip it off, and well, everyone knows what would happen. My moms bf looked at it and he said that it's probably fine, but I still don't like it. I know I know, a pic speaks a 1000 words, but, would you complain? I think I'm going to mention it when it goes in on Thursday for my tires and exhaust. For 145 dollars I think it should have looked stock....
  4. When its locked, try turning it towards unlock twice. IE: unlock, back to center, unlock. On my wd21 this will unlock all the doors, and its' the same on my fathers r50.
  5. I think thats the 5 speed. I believe for the auto you should be using Dexron III ATF. At least, thats what the shop put in mine when they flushed it.
  6. Put it in first gear? Or am I missing something.
  7. Unless he never unlocked his hubs
  8. I think from what I've seen, the 5 speeds have lower gearing. I don't know much about tranny's though. Mine drives sweet in power mode, but it guzzles hella gas My friends think my truck is fast, now who's
  9. just take out the fuel pump fuse and let it run till it dies and then it spills nothing.
  10. Why does it have the LE on the tailgate yet it has the crappy XE rims and no SE or LE options from what I could see on the inside
  11. use it to keep you cool in the summer? :tonguefinger:
  12. ^^Chan user..... Don't ride zack too hard, sure he may be a little ticked that the truck he bought NEW is rusting out, but he's already got it fixed, so what's the point of b!tching and complaining about it? I think, zack, that you ought to look at the future, and invest in some rust proofing, either have it rustproofed at a reputable place (metropolitan, or KROWN), or POR15 that frame. Your truck will last a hell of a lot longer that way.
  13. code P0450 is the EVAP Pressure Sensor Are you sure its P0446? There doesn't seem to be one in the list, but there is a P1446 which is Vent Control Valve.
  14. I can tell you for sure that the wd21 lego 15 inch rims will fit on the back but NOT the front, for the reason simon explained.
  15. Ghostpath your parts truck may have frame rot but your tires are less bald than mine
  16. Well you've already got it repaired, so just cut your losses and do whatever you can to prevent it from rusting again (undercoating, oil sprays) My 93 has severe frame rot too. But my 95's frame is nearly perfect, except for some minor surface rust in the rear. I'd LOVE for nissan to buy my 93 off me for the 3000 that it's worth in KBB, but that isn't gonna happen.
  17. Hmm, what I did that my friends couldn't.....lets see, uhh gone the longest without repairs? Or drive through my friends 4 wheeler trails where the 4 wheeler couldn't even get through. And I made it with a stock pathy. Oh and, go through the forestry center without getting a hole or even a scratch on my oil pan
  18. Maybe he's sentimental about his truck like i am about my 93 , nothin wrong with that. I will NEVER get rid of my 93 and don't plan on getting rid of the 95 anytime soon either.
  19. There was a guy around here on this board, and is local to me, who said his 91 pathy had like 650,000km's on the original clutch/equipment. I saw that truck in person, I could believe it too. He also said he never changed the timing belt Since I have no plans to buy another vehicle anytime soon, I'm gonna try for at least 500k miles, and if she's still going strong afterwards, I'll push for the 1 mil mark
  20. That's too bad. Maybe instead of getting a jeep you could find another pathy with a clean frame, or even an r50.
  21. I've got wood grain on my dash
  22. He never said how long he idled it before or during that 13 miles
  23. Wow, pathfinders must be more valuable up here (maybe because of the rarity of rust free ones? :tonguefinger: ) My 95 was valued by the insurance at 4900 and they retailed it at 4500, thats what I had to pay tax on
  24. Same here with the auto. At about 75mph (120kmh) its at about 3000, but I find my gas mileage doesn't change much no matter how "hard" i drive it (Some weeks, I'm not a pleasant person, but i never let it shift over 3500 ) I haven't wheeled my pathy much yet other than some snow exploration, but i like my auto because then i dont' run the risk of stalling it while going through somewhere that stopping would be a
