  1. Hahaha nice. I used to do that when I didn't have a floor jack. It was sweet. Nice video
  2. Did you make sure the timing belt was lined up perfectly? If it's off by a tooth or 2 it can do that. Or maybe the o2 sensor has decided to quit?
  3. They've probably been changed before. My drivers one was toast. Now its tight but the pass side is getting a little loose. Makes for a lot of wind noise. Thanks my1path.
  4. One thought Ty. You know where the cable goes into the black round vacuum box, for the cruise control? Check to make sure you somehow didn't pop it out while moving things around. The idiots who changed something on dads truck did that and I popped it back in and the truck was happy again...His springs look like that but they work fine.
  5. If the belt broke before the interval, is there not some kind of guarantee? (If I'm reading this right)
  6. It's not the front end that moves, it tracks straight over the bumps, its the rear end. And yes, they seem to be above the ground a little. My tie rods and CL are new, and so are the ball joints.
  7. I checked the panhard bushings when I did the others and they were tight still. CL was replaced with a new one in december. Maybe I didn't phrase it right but it doesn't have anything to do with wind. Its when you hit a bump on the highway, especially those frost creases that appear around here. The r50 does it too
  8. You're on the highway/interstate/whatever, and there is a crease in the road. When you hit the crease, it sends the rear end of your truck sideways. My truck has always done this, even with the new trailing arm bushings. There were some big ones on the 401/403 coming out of Brantford and Toronto yesterday. Does anyone else experience this? I thought for sure it was the control arms. But they, along with all the sway bar components have been replaced. Weird
  9. On my trucks that came with the legos it had a temporary tire on a non chrome rim. On my truck with the chrome rims, it came with a general ameritrac 235 75 r15 the same size of the tires on my truck... I have seen several of the XE pathy's with the same spare. And nowhere on the tire does it say temporary use only...
  10. Maybe check the rear brakes? I know when mine sat for 2 weeks the rear brakes made some real nasty noises.
  11. All 3 of mine were built in the same Japanese plant. According to the VIN
  12. Can you still get these? They came with my pathy and I LOVED them! I can't find them anywhere now. I want those ones, not the newer version.
  13. Since your sig states that you have 33s I would definitly put a steering damper on it. It made mine drive so much nicer over crap roads. And here in canada that is all of them.
  14. Just for the record both my decks were running through the factory amps and have not been damaged. The factory amps just make it so you don't have to turn it up as loud. My sony deck works perfectly with them, it's brand new and is a 52wX4
  15. If it were me I would wait till it fails. Mine is kinda messed up right now (makes the truck accelerate funny) but I still get good mileage. I have 275,000kms. I pass emissions here in ontario with flying colours. I had the cat replaced last summer with (probably) the same walker unit you have. My originals were plugged. I have heard that if you drive with a bad o2 for too long it can mess up the Cat...
  16. I paid 100 for all 4 seats and door panels in mint condition
  17. I don't know much about transmissions, but that is most definitly some messed up stuff! Good luck with the fix. Maybe just swap a known good used unit in? Or a 5 speed.
  18. My grandfathers neighbour has an 08. He is very happy with it. I've been in it and although I don't care much for the style, it is one nice ride.
  19. I swapped SE seats into my XE. They bolt right in. Also the wiring for the heat seat to the fuse panel was there, and the fuse was even in the fusebox, but the wiring that goes from the switch to the seat isn't. You'll need to swipe that and the switch from the donor.
  20. I have monroe sensatracs and find the front ones quite mushy but the rears are way too stiff. I've heard good things about kyb.
  21. What I did was use simple green like B said. Then I re sealed the whole driveway
  22. How about one of those "Remove to tow Chev's" or ford or dodge. Pick the domestic that you dislike the most
  23. I used BFG Radial Long trails for my street tires. They ride real smooth but they suck in snow or mud. But you aren't going to be using them in that are you lol. They last a long time as well. Or you could just go to a tire shop get some highway all season tires, which is what the long trails are.
  24. If he puts a cooler on it I think it would be fine also because the tranny itself is strong, it's just the heat and clogging cooler that kills it, no?
