  1. I have one of these. It's either the quiet flow or the sound FX. http://www.walkerexhaust.com/products/mufflers.asp Either way it definitely sounds more open than the factory one did.
  2. My friend used this stuff (i'm pretty sure) to fix a hole the size of a penny in his oil pan. It actually worked. Of course the car died about 8 months later buy hey, it was worth it.
  3. Depends on which side. As you can see under the hood one is covered by the intake manifold.
  4. Dude just use a little bit of atf there's now way 1.5k over the interval will put as much crap into your motor as k9's picture.
  5. If you're really stuck for money I'd just change it. I went 2k over my first oil change when I first bought my pathy
  6. I haven't personally done it but it's worth a try. I have to do the timing belt on my dads truck next week, he is going in for surgery, luckily his is a 5 speed, 2000 model year.
  7. Now THAT would be a nice tent to have.
  8. Just sleep like nige ricer powershift v-tech guy does:
  9. What you could do to loosen the harmonic balancer bolt is put your cheater bar against the frame and bump the starter, but disconnect the plugs first!
  10. It's not hard at all to remove the hub 1. Have someone hold brakes to loosen the 4x4 hub bolts (makes it easier) 2. Remove caliper and wire it out of the way. 3. Remove 4x4 hub if you haven't yet. 4. Remove snap ring, there are some washers behind it too, be careful you don't loose them. 5. Remove wheel lock nut cover (there are 2 Philips head screws holding it on) 6. Remove wheel bearing lock nut. You have to use the special nissan tool or you can use to 6mm Allen keys in the holes. Now the hub should slide off with the rotor, be careful you don't drop the wheel bearings. Good time to re pack them too. I don't know if you have to remove the rotor but if you do it's bolted to the hub. Hope this helps.
  11. I saw a molested LE pathfinder at the junkyard last time I was there, pretty bad rear ender but I'm hoping it has a working power antenna!
  12. nissan dealer. I get 95% of my parts there. You just can't beat oem.
  13. I found that the best way is to print off the sections of the FSM that you need, that way if it gets dirty you can just chuck the pages. Soon I'll be printing the whole thing though
  14. Is it possible to put a power antenna into a pathfinder that didn't have one? Or would I have to buy a new fender?
  15. The only things I changed when I did this job were the timing belt, water pump, and tensioner. Nothing was leaking *knock on wood* and the tstat is still good.
  16. Only thing that I found a pain was to hold the bolt while putting the bushings on, if you drop it they go all over the ground!
  17. I like it, but one question, does it affect the headroom at all? That would be the only concern for me.
  18. The line runs up the drivers side pillar and a long the edge of the roof. I know this because sometimes mine will leak right above the rear drivers door It scares the crap out of passengers back there.
  19. Sorry I meant the transmission, and I it was a centimeter over the full mark. I was just saying it didn't blow any seals out.
  20. It will still happen even if you don't wheel it though. When I got my truck they were getting there (started making noise a few months later) and I'm pretty sure it had never been taken on trails (still doesn't see much now), it was too clean and scratch/dent free.
  21. I drove mine for a month with it overfilled buy a centimeter over the full mark and it was ok. The tranny does have a vent so the pressure won't build up. What it will do though, at least from my experience, is shift oddly (sometimes I had to let off the gas to make it shift) and it would shift harsh until I drove it for over an our. It's all good now though.
  22. I thought it was easy and I had both sides done in 1.5 hours.
  23. I like where yours is mounted Derek and I think I have the newer version of yours. Only issue I have is I don't have that sweet center console, I have the XE one...Not deep enough
