It will still happen even if you don't wheel it though. When I got my truck they were getting there (started making noise a few months later) and I'm pretty sure it had never been taken on trails (still doesn't see much now), it was too clean and scratch/dent free.

I drove mine for a month with it overfilled buy a centimeter over the full mark and it was ok. The tranny does have a vent so the pressure won't build up. What it will do though, at least from my experience, is shift oddly (sometimes I had to let off the gas to make it shift) and it would shift harsh until I drove it for over an our. It's all good now though.

I like where yours is mounted Derek and I think I have the newer version of yours. Only issue I have is I don't have that sweet center console, I have the XE one...Not deep enough

Stay away from Monroe unless you do only highway, my front ones are only a year old and already they are all bouncy. Changing them is easy, though to put the new rear drivers side shock on you might have to disconnect the pan-hard rod, but that's easy.

It says right in the factory service manual to not get any coolant on the timing belt. And the tbelt DOES NOT run the waterpump.

How much of a PITA was the tranny filter? And did the nissan fluid cure the 1-2 rough shift?

I used a funnel that had a tube attached, with a valve, to fill the trans through the dipstick. It didn't take that long actually. This one on the left: It cost me about 6 bucks at princess auto in Ottawa. I think harbor freight is a similar us store?

You should've seen the half assed repair that was in there. Thin sheetmetal with fiberglass over it, and the metal had rusted through again.

Did you replace the cable? You must have a short somewhere. I'm pretty sure our tranny's are fully electric but I'll let someone who knows about them give you an answer.

For the hose that is leaking try to reposition it, this happened to me when I did mine. What I mean is, loosen the clamp turn the hose a little then tighten it again. And for the transmission hoses, sh!t happens! At least now you'll have the chance to flush it!

How old are your ignition components? (plugs, wires, cap and rotor)

Wow, those are also the same switches that came in my 95 Pathfinder lol.

Mine sits a touch higher than that but even with the a/c on a hot summer day it'll hit half at the most and thats with stop n go traffic. In the winter I'm where you are now on the warmest winter day, even with a winter front thing...

I just replaced my o2 sensor on the advice of an older mechanic when I filled up with gas at his station. He could tell by how my truck was idling when I pulled in and when I started the truck it always kinda stumbled but then ran well. Changed the o2 the other day and it made a world of difference.

I've been there when the axle seal and grease seal were being replaced. It's kind of a pain.

If you can't afford it then roll down the windows. It's not even that hot this summer, which is almost over anyways. I've barely used mine.
