At least it wasn't like mine. There was a poor attempt at fixing it in there as well...You can see the expanding foam they put in the void on the left. A memeber here fixed the whole in the floor but it had moved into the structure of the body, so it cost me 500 dollars to have it all fixed.

I have a question though, why does everyone say put the a/c on max? On my truck the a/c is either on or off.

93 And up pathfinders have the 134a stuff. Mine doesn't have a "sight glass" either. Maybe that is only on the old r12 systems?. Also that port in your last picture is the one you top it up from. the one in your first picture is the high pressure line, don't mess with that baby! Also if it gets cold, then I wouldn't worry about topping it up.

It's really starting to bother me that it's not working, because every time I drive this thing, when not going to school, it's always highway. It's weird, everything seems to be all hooked up right, the steering wheel controls are making contact and all that, the brake switch is working, the actuator tests good, the computer i swapped from a known working one in another 95, still no go. Also replaced the blue relay on the passenger side and it clicks when you turn the main switch on but the damn cruise won't set. Should I just bring it to a mechanic? (don't really want to)

You have the tensioner on the wrong way. The straight part of the spring is supposed to be hitting that little stud that is to the right of the tensioner in your picture.

Thats what happened when my alty died. It would only charge above 2500 rpms

Mine used to do something like that in the winter, when my alternator was going. It kept going in and out of torque lock or w/e it's called.

Those lights are the code for dead alternator.

Well it is only like 155hp to begin with. But mine can make it up inclines with ease. You probably need a tune up. I would start there. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil and filter change, fuel filter change, air filter change or put a K&N filter in it, check the o2 sensor because if it is bad it can make the truck lose power as well. Also change the pcv valve.

I tried to find a new alternator and could around here. I had to settle for a reman. But I got a reman nissan one, not champion or any of those garbage ones.

I hit 283,000kms the other day. Won't hit 284 for a while yet.
