  1. No he means ECU coolant temp sensor. They are both a coolant temp sensor (in a parts list) but one is for the gauge on the dash and the other goes to the ECU.
  2. Do you have a pic? I would definitely do this to mine.
  3. Ask for one for a 94 pathfinder. I had the same problem apparently the 95+ nissan/infinity style plugs were not in the 95 wd21, they are like 94 and prior.
  4. I need the two door ones too as i got a hatch one out of the parts truck but the other 2 were seized like mine are.
  5. How much mileage on this thing? It may just be time for a new starter... The fusible links are short pieces of wire that burn out instead of something big blowing up. You can see them on the positive side of the battery on the cable.
  6. Well mine kept coming loose, even with new tie rods on it. So I spent the 15 bucks and got new sleeves
  7. Yeah it's easy to do. Even living in the "Rust belt" my idler arm mounting bolts came off with ease and they looked to have never been removed before. Count the threads on the old tie rods and adjusters and make it as close as possible on the new ones, so the alignment will be somewhat correct. Also you should get new sleeves if you get new tie rods. One of mine was stripped
  8. Don't get a rebuilt one from autozone. Apparently they are crap.
  9. Someone get a parts truck with a rotted frame and try it lol...
  10. I think you can use gm synchromesh
  11. 152k miles...was the timing belt ever changed?
  12. The woodruff key sheered didn't it.
  13. Looks like you'll be getting a sweet new engine before you expected!
  14. Well first off. Running straight pipes is not what you want to do on one of these engines. It's not a barbaric 50's chevy, it needs back pressure to run right.
  15. I did it to the parts truck we had for the hell of it and yes it has a limiter. I'm pretty sure it hit 7k and was bouncing.
  16. Yes the dealer should change them for free.
  17. Tex, how has it been running? Also I want to get a crapped out wd21 auto and fool around with it and learn. And possibly install one of these kits...
  18. Even on a wd21 you don't have to touch the cross member. I had mine done by a Nissan mechanic and he only had to remove the exhaust on one side of the manifold to give the pan enough room to come out. Also I used a GK industries filter and motomaster ATF with a bottle of Lucas transmission treatment. She shifts as smooth as glass even in the cold Canadian winter temps. I also was having an intermittent no reverse issue but it is almost gone now. Used to have to go to D then R to make it work. Now it works 99% of the time. I'm hoping adding an external filter and cooler will help it more.
  19. Good post. I had my grandfathers garage do the exact same thing to my rear links. Cost me 30 dollars cash. I took them off the truck and brought them in, though.
  20. Yeah I was gonna do that to mine but figured whats the point its just for looks anyways. I want to get an ARB eventually.
  21. I had a brushguard that mounted to the frame and it didn't have mounting points for a winch...And I had to take it off when I did my body lift. It was given to me by an npora member, and I passed it on to another lol.
