There are holes that will line up, but you won't be able to use your stock bolt/bracket parts. Just buy 4 1" long by 3/8" nuts and bolts. I used longer because I had 4 random bolts that fit laying around. Here is a pic of mine, I only have a 2" BL, but I think you would use the same ones.

You can make your own (for cheap) gap guards is what he was trying to tell you. BTW, with Pathfinders, being 2wd doesn't matter too much, most everything is the same for 2wd and 4wd as far as suspension, steering, etc.

Those are for if you carry a lot of weight or tow. They keep your ass from saggin'/draggin'. They don't do much of anything for you untill you start to compress the rear.

Though it looks like a nice place and clean install, you are going to make a mess when you go to change it with it installed like that.

The VG33 ought to fit right in and bolt right up to the tranny. They are basically the same block with different heads.

Your radiator cap might be bad, allowing pressure to bleed off and coolent to come out around it (and not touch the stuff in the overflow).

Actually if that is labor and material for $120 that doesn't sound too bad. One other place that will allow in some noise is the T-case boot (the rubber one under the leather). If it is torn it will let in a lot of noise and heat.

Which light (D or P)? Did you check Cantley's? If not DON'T CALL, I know they have at least 3 Pathfinders in there, can't remember what the rear lights were like (if still there). They'll let you wonder the yard for $1 there, then just pull what you want and take it in to the counter. Usually show up at the counter with something like that, they'll just make up a number (usuallly smaller the part, smaller the number ).

Keep an eye out on the Nissan boards in the classifieds for one. I picked up a stock one not too long ago for $50.

The only one I ever drove ( a former girlfriend's sister's 89) needed all the PS it could get. Even with the PS it was a dog on turns. I had a R&P non-power assist BMW 320i at the time that was easier to manuver.

If you ever plan to offroad your Pathy, don't get the Manik one. It drops way down and ruins your approach angle, and with the way it mounts if you were to hit it on something it will bend right into the grill and hood. (I had a Manik on mine for the first year after I bought the truck.) If you do like the Manik style one, check out WAAG brand also, they are similar and cheaper if memory serves.
