Finished ripping off the drivers side of the rear bumper Mangled passenger front fender shredded tire (Ok ok, this one doesn't quite qualify as "trail" damage....stupid pig) Bent up more of the fender lips.. vengeful Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Some of it you can't really help....I've yet to break anything that kept me from finishing the trail, it's all been cosmetic. The mangled fender was partly due to the tire rubbing it and pulling it out and then me wailing on it with a BFRubberMallet to keep the tire from rubbing. The shredded tire was partly due to the dead pig in the road I ran over on the way home....didn't see it until it was too late to avoid it....and partly due to the cuts in the sidewall from rocks over the last year or so. The bumper was already screwed up, got caught on a rock, pulled down further and then the tire grabbed it and ripped it out of its mounts, and it was just barely hanging on, so I tore the plastic part to get it off so it wasn't dragging.
