Karmann Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Saw an article on Jalopnik that spurred the question. I'll start: Mine was a 1998 Chevy S-10 5-speed 4 cylinder. A real hot rod I know. My dad was storing it at our house for the month the owner was away, and the guy said we could run errands in it. Little did he know a 13 year old would be learning to drive on his truck. bushnut Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 1985 VW jetta diesel. It had just enough torque that you didn't need to press the gas to get rolling in 1st. I was just tall enough to push the clutch to the floor and still look over the dash. My Dad let me drive it around the yard for weeks, 1st...2nd...stop and repeat.
