lighten up on the tall skinny and you will be amazed. there are also lots of upgrades you can do to improve performance/gas mileage as well. if you love your pathy as much as we love ours, then stick with her, and limit your use of the go pedal they're great trucks and much fun can be had with them. wait til summer.. you'll kick yourself for even thinking of selling her

sounds like the interlock switch. mine doesn't have anything written on it .. at least not that i remember........ lol......

you can try gluing it.. if all else fails buy a new cannister (about $90) or go get one off a JY pathy

that my dear boy is your charcoal cannister (land of exhaust recycling).. and you will/should have the most holacious vaccum leak if it is not repaired.... is your pathy running like crap or your rpm's going mental yet? that is what hose was leaking on mine and it solved my rpm problem soon as i put a new clip on it mine broke in the same place with PO as it looks to be super glued on there

my nephew is totally into HESS trucks.. they have all kinds of stuff... i like playing with them too sly

check the charcoal cannister real close... the vaccum hose i have is the right one but had got stretched out badly where it goes ontot he cannister.. it looked intact but after passing smog and everything.. i was under the hood bout a week ago and the thing was whistlin dixie to me! the clip was also stretched n worn... i got a new clip and it seems ok now. my suggestion would be to give each line a "tug" to make sure they are securely attached. I also had the same problem as you (it was the charcoal cannister line) but i also adjusted my throttle. now she's great. little high at startup (1200-1500) but drops right down after being put in gear and driving a couple hundred yards

start with the basics. have you checked for vaccum leaks and cleaned yer MAF?

sounds like gear oil and so does the location. i just changed the seals in mine at 137,000........
