  1. sly ooh. where'd you get that brace red? me likey
  2. well.. though it is (winces) possible to put the motor in with the headers on.. i don't recommend it..... not unless you are extremely precise and don't mind battle scars on them..... and have lots of help to watch out for the fuel and other lines
  3. ya beat me to it -bounce-
  4. you turned in a good direction. mine came stock with the same size and i upgraded to 31's.. that guy sounds like a tard...... and he was lazy about not checking for you. bypass that place on your final destination for tires
  5. :o please tell me yer joking? *faints at the thought of a pathy sporting these things*
  6. it looks like he has his hand on it in the top left corner of the pic...... sssh
  7. pb blaster and some patience?
  8. great. now i have another fart in the wind trend to look forward to living in cali those outta cause a few accidents before they're made illegal....
  9. :o good lord man! say it with me "pressure washer".... very good.. now say again and repeat daily......
  10. that's what i did. started off with wal*mart brand 20w-50 i had left over, ran her 500 miles then drained the rad, and oil, and dropped in valvoline max life, can of restore and a new filter, new water (after flushing rad as best i could) and new anti-freeze. i have run her another 500 miles and will be flushing the rad again today. all that brown poop running through your cooling system will not do it any favors.. i plan on draining and flushing every 500 miles for the first 2,000 miles for maximum effect and cleansing. i have 500 miles to go til i change the oil and filter again. (that will make it 1,000 miles on teh valvoline).. after that.. every 3,000 religously
  11. i didn't have the 31's stock... mine came with 215/75/15's stock.. hahaha.. i put 31's on and cranked the t-bars a bit n did the JGC coil install and i don't have too many problems
  12. it should.. mine's a 92. i have had to do a LOT of burping lately cuz i have been draining the rad like once a week trying to get the poop outta the motor from it bein sittin so long.. i don't want all that crap blockin my h2o pump or cruddin up stuff. so i drain, flush, refill, flush, drain, refill.. add anti freeze.. on my way
  13. i can almost see which one you need to open.. it is there by the hose on the intake yes.. it has a copper washer if that's any help and it's by itself up there
  14. i feel that visuals are the best form of instruction. that's how i learn... you can TELL me anything.. but until i see or do it... yer SOL.
  15. sssh and where are they when you need them?
  16. no biggie. i updated the pic a bit... you can do eeeeeet! -bounce- as she takes another swig off her J & C -alcohol- sly
  17. :o please don't tell me it was anywhere near the radiator? that's the a/c! here's a pic of where the burper is.. 10mm socket and undo a bit but don't remove.. put rad cap back on and run to working temp or until water *starts* spewing out of the hole (my pathy will not burp with the rad cap off.. she's awkward like that) then let spew for a few minutes.... mine likes to barf up for about 10 minutes ...
  18. for starters.. don't bother using WD40.. it will do NOTHING to help you. PB Blaster is the shizznitz. apply liberally and let soak for 1 or 2 days. there was a write up about removing studs somewhere (use search) but i know precise1 aka B.. had a handy tool he found best to remove broken studs. i removed 6 broken studs last year and it was hairy. i have to do it again (luckily 2 broken this time) on my new heads.. umph.. is a womans work never done? here ya go: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=5361
  19. yes.. burp the old girl first.. but my pathy was doing that also (temp up n down like a yoyo.. heater hot then cold) and it had a blown head gasket.. tho she really didn't show signs til late in her illness :sniff:
  20. -bounce- yeah.. what he ^^ said -bounce-
  21. -bounce- ok. PEZZY!!!!!!!!!!!! yo! pezzerz!!! where u at girlie! see.. they finally admitted the done us wd21 owners wrong
  22. switching to a unibody design, abandoning the few hard-core off-roaders that had cherished the original model. amen.
  23. nah. no need to mess with the t-bars. just drop the front diff down a bit, that's what holds up the oil pan. remember to makr all your wires n hoses.. or at least the ones you don't know where they go. remember.. put a jack with a big block of wood for teh x member/diff but be sure to keep it well clear of the oil pan. that way you have a little more maneuverability when coaxing the diff to drop (you'll have to leave it there to support) be careful if you leave your driveline on.. if ya do.. do NOT let that diff drop... yeah. you have my msn, you can get me here and i think you have my phone number? good luck and ask away!
