  1. if a blown head gasket is all that's wrong with it BUY IT!!!! easy enuff job to do and do NOT worry about having 177,000 on it. that is just getting broke in on these motors. my head gasket went at 136,000 on my original motor, bought a motor with 170,000 and it is in better shape than mine. just change the ehad gasket and enjoy!! -bounce-

  3. you sure when the guys did yer tranny they didn;t knock somethin loose? have you checked all possible hoses, lines, wires etc? and also what 88 said
  4. a rear main seal is about $6 it's the bottle of jack and the case of beer that costs $$$

  6. depending on what side headlight you need.. i still have a drivers side light. cool.. another brit (i lived there for 13 yrs with family)

  8. well.. the average pathy weighs 4200lbs... you do the math with whatever vehicle you plan on usin to tow it with. if you tow correctly, no harm will come to the pathy.
  9. it's a traightforward job to lower the tranny, just don't go too far and support the tranny with a tranny jack or a regular jack with a block of wood on it.

  14. any time josh. glad you got it out. can't wait to see pic of the crank. i think you'll be ok, but a second opinion is always good. now that that little SOaB is out.. you can actually get on with doing the rest of the work! the smallest things are always the biggest PITA

  17. never heard of those. i always buy the prestone (sp?) t'stats at kragens..... never had a problem. rad cap is the same brand
