well.. we lost kelly in january this year (mogies sister) so now there's mogie (chow mix) here in the US and i have my beloved jake who is now 11. he's a long coat german shepherd and i watched him being born. i miss him terribly but he's better off in englnad with steve who loves him as much as me (we were a couple til i moved back to the US and he also saw jake being born) i watch all the hours n hours of video i have of jake and my other 2 long coats and i cry. i miss him so much. he is happy n healthy tho and that's what counts. charlotte is my baby gurl here, she turned 7 in feb, she's 1/2 st bernard 1/2 german shepherd and she's currently on a friends 20 acre ranch livin it up with a black lab as there is stupid pit here and charlotte likes to fight if any agression at all is shown to her or me...... (the pit is actually laid back and friendly.. but ya never know)

yeah. i wanted to do that conversion but i would have needed to have the old system disposed of and they said my ac compressor is not "suited" to the new stuff.. all in all they quoted me $300 to change over. i said fill 'er up and see you later for $178 (with full system check as well)
-
yeah. my bumpers are discolored... nothin a bit of pimp shine and a smittybuilt couldn't fix tho sly or a can of black paint.
-
oh. cool. i couldn't remember.. nro could i find the receipt that said what stuff it was hehehe.. thanks fer the clarification
-
mine has the "old school stuff"... isn't that R-13 or something? I just had it charged and the whole system checked for $175 last summer
-
lol. when i say "jerk" i mean you can feel the power being sapped then return.... never had it any other way in any of my trucks. my clue that things are working. my ac will freeze yer bits off set on #2 #4 and yer froze solid.
-
all in all there are 12 bolts all together and they all come off the same. with a socket and 5 minutes of your time. get help for the carrier else you may regret it. the weight distribution is uneven.. and when it comes down.. it comes down.
-
so.. lemme understand this. it didn't jerk when the ac was OFF? well.. when the ac is ON yes, you will feel the occasional "jerk" and lack of power for a moment. that's yer ac compressor working properly. if it jerks with the ac OFF.. then you may have a blocked injector or some crud blocking things up or timing issues or a vaccum leak.. or a few other things...
-
if it doesn't work, i have the one i made you on cd ready to mail. lemme know
-
i found them at OSH but they only had 3 last time i was there so i didn't get them.... no nuts, just undo the bolts. have help, cuz when that sucker comes bangin down.. it's heavy.
-
i still have the old bolts in there for right now til i can find some nice rubber plugs.....
-
it's not just a case of how many miles if one breaks, if they are wrongly installed they can break/come off within a matter of miles/minutes.
-
umm.. as long as you don't have your dash lights set to full blast you'll be fine. it is a nice soft glow for sure. my friend had them in his truck (not pathy)....
-
change the H2o pump, t-belt and t'stat while you've got it apart. it won't take much longer to do it... set aside 4 hrs tops and you'll be good to go.
-
lol. if i wanted my truck to look "more new" then i wouldn't bash the crap out of it in the bushes off road.... and i would polish it more than once every 3 years..... and i would stop trying to make it "uglier".........
-
effective? the only thing they affect is your vision. if you like bright lights n bling, then by all means get them. if you trhink they'll enhance performance... j/k. i have seen those gauges in other vehicles and they are.. for lack of a better word.."pretty"......
-
looks like you've got your advice... now ..... GO DO IT! oh.. and if yer in any way mechanically inclined, you can save yerself a buttload of $$ by doing it yourself. H2o pump, t'stat, can seals and t-belt.. hey presto.. for under $150. that would leave you upwards of $400 for other goodies sly

I have one on my puter and the actual book for my 92. Check yer pm's

I agree with all of the above. We all have one thing (at least) in common as to why we're all here, and this is the BEST site around. The search function is a little funky, even i struggle with it sometimes as i try to find old topics and stuff, but that's where the poho thread or a quick pm to a mod or other member comes in handy. if you KNOW it's been flogged like a dead horse but can't find it, chances are, ask someone in a pm or in the poho or related topic if they can help find it.... i am lazy, hate using search, but will when i know it's been covered and the issue answered before......... and when all else fails........ ASK! -bounce- -bounce- i think the particular issue you were "referring" to zonian in your first post here was because that particular person just kept posting new topics which had been recently flogged to death, and a quick search would have pulled up many answers for him, but he chose just to keep posting new topics, and waiting for the suppliers of answers to type it all out again... several times..... which can be very irritating sometimes.. we want to help..... but not answer the same thing 10 times in 2 months. And then when certain comments are made all you get for your troubles is a deleted topic or abuse. We are all here, equal, and on common ground, and strive to keep it friendly... tempers do flare sometimes, but this is like a big family..... with 2,000+ members, sometimes the kids will argue
