Yes Look at it this way. If you remove/disconnect the o2 sensor and it doesn't change how the truck runs, then the ECU isn't getting any info from the o2 sensor anyway. Right? B

Nice truck, same paint as my 'new' one. How many miles?? AC has the best kit for body lifts as they include the correct bolts (which can be hard to find). I prefer the 2 inch lift as it is sufficient for me and has less install hassles than the 3 inch. Some people prefer the 3 inch lift (may as well go as high as you can theory) for tire clearance or that they just need every inch they can get... Snorkel options are generally the Safari snorkel, but several people have made their own ranging from "no way in hell would I put that on my truck" to nice custom fab jobs. Search for the threads if you are interested. ARB bumpers are great, but heavy and pricey. Kennisaw and soon to be Raunk (sp) are viable options. B

This!! I believe k9sar once said he bought his from Harbour Freight. I can't remember which auto parts store I bought mine from, but they are a common item and should be easy to find. As for accidents/danger, I have had none (used a dozen times) and feel that they reasonably safe as long as you are careful, patient and follow proper guidelines. Make sure to grease or oil the threads before using though, they sometimes start to gall otherwise... B

Well, that was the repair job from hell!! Sorry the square type extractors didn't serve you better but I think they were your best bet. It doesn't sound like any extraction method was going to work well short of drilling the bolt out which in hind sight would have been the way to go. Extremely lucky indeed!! I hope the repair lasts... B

That is odd. I'm certain my last 95xe didn't do that but I have yet to set cruise on the new 95xe. I'll see if I can try it on the way home... B

My pleasure!! Yes, that is why I bought (not yet installed) a 2" lift. Kind of a happy medium with a simpler install. They do (did) make 1" lifts, but you can always have the lift pucks cut down from a larger size. I have heard good things about those tires but don't know first hand. Have you read the 'unofficial tire review' thread in the 'product reviews' section? It may be helpful. Yes, tempting, but is it 4 or 5? I'm a proponent of matching spares... Remember, you can get steel 8" rims with the same offset for 60-$80 each. That didn't help, did it? B

Hey, glad I could help!! I forgot to mention one last option that may be feasible if it is not your daily driver. Pull the tranny, take it to a shop and have them rebuild it. Sure, It will cost a little but you should be guarenteed a sound tranny and have a warranty as well... Gotta love these things, eh? Yeah, don't put that off!! Often when people replace the timing belt they also inspect/replace the cam seals, coolant bypass hose, front main seal, etc so they don't have to do 1/2 the work all over again. B

Remember to check the classifieds here also, there are several people parting out trucks... B

Yes 33" tires will generally add stress/wear to your front end components, reduce gas mileage and slow the truck down on steep grades. I see no reason not to do a suspension lift even if you are running 31" tires. If you decide not to and the superlift UCAs are in good shape, I'll gladly purchase them from you. The 3" body lift is debatable for your purposes and has pro's and con's... B

Honestly, I think you are to specific about your options without giving the same detail about your off roading terrain and expectations. All of that said, for a daily driver I'd vote B (suspension lift), C then D. I'm in the same boat, wondering if I should go with 33 or 31' tires. I think I have decided on 31". Cheaper, doesn't effect gearing as much for street driving, and the extra 1" of lift really isn't the make or break difference. If it was, you wouldn't be asking... Oh, I will install a 2" body lift, just because. I want a little more height and it is easier to work on many things with the body jacked up a little... B

I believe you can use any 5 speed from 2 or 4 door WD21, but I know any 4 door (90-95) can be a donor. Look for low miles/well maintained (ie fluids changed). Shop locally for mechanic specials, crashed, rolled trucks you can swap from. The rebuild isn't too hard from what I understand, but I'm not a tranny guy so I won't say any more. A few people here have done it so I'll try to find a thread on it. Your best bet it to replace it with a known problem free tranny. B

Use the metal rod stethiscope trick to try to pinpoint noisy pumps, pulleys, bearings, etc first. B

As it probably can't hurt, have you tried any stop leak in it? It might get you by until you find a cheap replacement... B

Need to see the mounting side and dimensions to even guess. What load winch can it support? Remember, that is a lighter vehicle... B
