Can you swap a coil?? B
  2. At most, do a compression test and odds are everything is fine. I wouldn't touch the heads unless there is a problem or you are doing serious engine upgrades... B
  3. You get terrible gas mileage and when you disconnect the O2 sensor, the truck runs the same. Time for a new one and I'd replace it with one made to fit the pathfinder bung. B
  4. Only due to you mentioning revving, could it be gas rich exhaust? What is your mileage like? B
  5. Damn, sorry to hear that. At least you know what you want, which ones to buy and have a lot of upgrades already... Good Luck!! B
  6. Damn, we were right for a change... Glad it was easy. B
  7. A gas charged shock will extend it's self and generally take a fair amount of force to compress, but that is not due solely to the gas. It sounds to me like these are gas charged and 1 has leaked the gas pressure, but the valving still works meaning it is hard to compress. See if you can see any damage anywhere and try to return it. B
  8. Perhaps it was a California model?? In Washington I'm sure you could just run 1 cat and pass emissions. Magnaflows are good so get the same for the muffler. I have one and like it. I haven't bought plug wires for 10 years so I can't help you there. Hint, when you need to do a tune up, buy another vehicle that has just been tuned... B
  9. Ahh, machinist here, so I know what you mean... B
  10. Heat it up with a torch, bang on it with a hammer, let it cool a bit and spray on a good penetrant spray (not WD-40), go to the hardware store and get a set or the correct size of these... http://blog.bt-andf.com/blog/remove-stripp...olt/0/0/toolman I have the first version, made by Sears. If that doesn't get it out, start drilling and grinding... B Just a simple write up I found, shows the set I have and mentions a few other tricks. http://www.jonfleck.com/2009/02/03/how-to-...bolts-and-nuts/
  11. Get a similar steel rim from a wrecker or where ever for $20. Like he said, 15x6 or 15x7, 6 bolt on 5.5" circle, 3.75-4" backspacing. Yes, to some degree, but it is still readable from a car behind you and that's what the cops care about. I have never been hassled here in NorCal where you can get hassled for anything... As long as your carrier hinges are lubed, opening the hatch shouldn't take but a few seconds. B
  12. You should only have 1 O2 sensor, down stream of the Y, before the cat (I think). Yes, change that first and see what happens with the mileage/CEL. B
  13. At a yard sale?? Are they for a pathfinder?? If so, that was a good score!! B
  14. Nicely done!! You sound quite competent and probably know your pathy better than 99% of people know their vehicles... B
  15. I've not heard of that before, but I don't have tremendous knowledge of the auto trannys. It almost sounds like a linkage issue, but I'm guessing. Perhaps pull the shifter console and see if there is anything obviously wrong?? B
  16. Good catch!! Glad it was and easy, free fix; they are the best!! B
  17. \ Agreed. They are hard, but not impossible, to find in the US. I was considering buying perhaps a dozen and selling them at cost to those who wanted them, but I broke one captive nut loose and had to cut through the rear floor to get the bolt out. So, I will simply do the same on the other side and use cheaper standard bolts instead. B
  18. Don't forget tension rod bushings... Seriously, jack it up and start tugging/prying as it could be any of them (other than the CV's unless you are in 4x4). How many miles on the truck and what kind of work has been done up front. Oh, front cross member can sometimes make clunking noise. Retorque that also. BG
  19. No worries. I knew they were 1.25 pitch from having dealt with them so recently but when I went to copy the thread link, I still looked to be 'sure'... B
  20. M12x1.25x180mm for the 3" lift. They can be hard to find especially 8.8 or 10.9 grade I recommend reading up on this. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=5325 B
  21. OR zipties !! I'm not sure you belong here... Congrats, and good job with the proper install. And it didn't take you 1.5 years!! B
  22. Ok, that got me laughing!! Nice one!! B
  23. Ask for specific clarification then!!! Quote it and we'll try again... B
