Yep....factory radiator is a single core. However, by some strange mix-up, a body shop put in a Calsonic 2-core radiator in my truck. It's FANTASTIC in the summer, but sucks in the winter as it takes FOREVER for the truck to warm up.... :confused: I dont even know how they got it in there!

It's not terribly difficult to do. I took a 125A one out of a 2001 Quest with the 3.3 for a little extra juice, so my steps were probably a bit different from a 110A alternator. All I really had to do was to swap the Pathy pulley onto the alternator, bore out the mounting holes, and grind down some of the casing to get it to fit properly.

I've got the JWT, and I've never had a problem.... I've driven through water up to the side windows (well above headlight level....I had to put the windows up because it was pouring in OVER the sills...haha)... When I got out of the hole, I popped the hood, the filter was moist...checked hte MAF and it was dry...Who needs a snorkel? :cool2:

Yup... Same thing happened to me when I had an "accident" on the beach. I got run off the main tracks and into a big hole by a Jeep, which subsequently launched the front end of my truck about 7 feet in the air according to bystanders, and when the back tires hit the up side of the hole it snapped the front end back down to the ground, causing what you see on your truck. Edit: By the way, my neck still hurts from that... Mind you, I did the stupid thing and drove 350 miles back home from the beach on it. My insurance actually took care of it for me because it was a non-fault "incident". I took it to a body shop and they actually had to cut away the whole inner fender skin at the firewall and weld a new one in. Cost my insurance company $2600 in parts, labor and paint. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DRIVE THE TRUCK LIKE THAT, you are putting your life, as well as those around you and those who ride with you in danger. Call your insurance company, make up a story about a big pothole or something that you didnt see until it was too late (raining, nighttime...). If you have a good insurance company, you'll only be responsible for the deductible, and it should be ruled as a non-fault incident so it wont effect your rates. But...MOST IMPORTANTLY, AND I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, DO NOT DRIVE THE TRUCK. In the 350 miles I drove home on the interstate (very smooth road), the tear grew from only 50% of the mount, to only about 10% of the mount still intact. GET IT FIXED RIGHT AWAY. Go to a reputable body shop, IMMEDIATELY. Good luck and be safe. Edited again for stupid spelling errors.

If that doesn't pan out to anything, its possible that your in cabin air filter (if equipped) needs to be changed - or something got into your heater fan...

Oddly enough, I had a similar issue....I looked underneath my truck, and there was a piece of wood lodged between the cat and the body. I'm lucky I caught it and it didn't burn my truck down. :eek:

If the 265/70/R16 you're referring to is the tires on the rims...then yes, they ought to fit. That tire size is rougly a 32" tire, hoewver.

Totally Off-Topic...but I saw your name and thought you were someone I knew...his truck is named the Chupacabra. Small world, eh? -thnkboutit- OTOH, I have heard some stories about the PS headers not even coming close to fitting. The Thorleys seem to be much better on that. :secret:
