Yes, there actually are a few mods that help the performance. There is a cam set available. The JWT Pop-charger or similar cone-style intake and a freer flowing exhaust will help quite a bit. A word of warning though - The JWT Pop-Charger is known to cause the ECU to think there is a problem with the EVAP system and throw a SES light. It has something to do with the way the adapter plate was manufactured and the flow through the EVAP vacuum line. I'm working on a way to fix that though. I'm going to try to use a Breather filter on the end of the line and see if that helps my problem.

With an ARB or any bull-bar type winch bumper, it would be very difficult to remove the winch and put it at the rear.

Total and complete waste of money.

It IS possible to fit 35s without a body lift... You just need both SLs... Though that truck has since gone through a major change. He's running coilovers and long-arms in the rear. He wheels the living piss out of it all the time.

Oh definitely! I love it here! It's always so warm and cozy. It's like curling up by a nice crackling fi....ok, that's pushing it....LOL. But there's definitely a cameraderie here that I don't really feel on any other model oreiented board.

I have a hard time beliving $600 for a Safari Snorkel when you can readily buy them off the shelf for $250... Other than that...that thing is freaking cool! Reminds me of my old roommate...I think I'll pass it along to him!

If you want to lower the CV angles...you could always get the lift that Keith (system-f) is building (to be ready this summer), and eliminate the front AC coils...You'll still need the rear ones to make ride height proper...

Not so fast Dernt..... Depending on where he took it, it might not be so crazy. To replace the KS, you have to remove the entire intake manifold (upper and lower) just to get at it, and that requires a complete teardown of the intake system, replacing the gaskets, and all that stuff. Those gaskets alone run about $80-90 from a dealer. The KS is roughly $150 from a dealer. Then the O2 sensors are IIRC $172 from the dealer, each, and there's 4 of them, and then you have labor. So, if you really add it up and add up every little bit and piece like a dealership would, $1200 seems like a pretty legitimate price for that job. However, there is quite a bit of sticker shock when you think...damn, I just wanted a few sensors replaced!

Actually, when I make my rear bumper, I'm probably going to integrate those wheels in the corners into it, and a wheel under the center as well. Dean, you've been an inspiration for my truck for many years and many mods....oh, can't forget many dollars. I love you and hate you at the same time.
