I can also move my airbag cover, however it doesnt cause any vibration in the driving. When I bought the truck it had a shake in the steering that took a me a while to figure out, but it was struts and links up front, tightened it right up...

Yea, the only reason I was looking at them was people who have done the OME have had problems with the front being lower than the rear. They do look pretty sketch though...

Ok, are the RAN-RS99118 really worth the extra 50 bucks over the RAN-RS5118? I can see the differences on the summit website (Poly bushing instead of rubber, triple tub instead of double and of course the 9000 is adjustable) But are all these differences worth the extra money? I am doing the bushing job next week and figured I would throw shocks on at the same time.. wish I could add new springs then but money doesnt permit now... SECOND: what the heck is this? Anyone know anything about or had experience with these? Thanks, Cameron

Ok I searched and searched and couldn't find the answer to this question. When doing the control arms in the back, do I need to do both lower AND upper or just lower? I want to order these bushings and get this done as soon as possible, its just scary to drive now.

eBay has had them. I almost bought one for my 97 because the white face gauges are sweet..

yea, ebay, I got 2 for 30 bucks, the recode instructions are pinned in the 96+ forum. It's easy. Just do a search by the FCCID located on the back of the remote

I put mine on the backs of the seats, mount them in Fork first.. granted I usually just throw em on top.. Nice though, that is probably much easier to load than mine

Back to the original question - in my fathers 01 LE the AUX switch controlled the sound for the VCP installed in the back.

Got mine done last year for about 670, including two tows and some other assorted charges... Mine went out while driving home for the weekend from school. Didn't really have the ability to shop around for a shop seeing as how I was in middle of nowhere west virginia... But yea, dealership, stay away from that eternal money pit

mmm the problem we ran into was that the speakers would have to be replaced. At least thats what the guys at both best buy and circuit city told us. As much as I don't want to believe them, I wasn't going to experiment with my dads truck and he wanted to keep that stock look anyways. I'm sure you can put an aftermarket it in there, just might take a little more work. Probably have a situation similar to mine. I replaced the stock one in my 97 which had the external amplifier and now I can't turn it up all that loud and I can hear the cd spinning through the speakers. I want to bypass the amp, just havent had time yet. Good luck!

welcome to the world that is the 01 6-disc changer. My dad's 01 did that about 6 months after he got it (used). The dealer wanted 700 to replace it or 250 to fix it. POS. We bought one from a guy on ebay selling them for 01's, he even included an updated wiring harness to make it work. It works great. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=38641 he has them up every once in a while, just keep an eye out. Otherwise the only radio you can replace it with is another Nissan BOSE radio. Due to the set up of the BOSE radio with the amps on the speakers you must use that type of radio. Any Nissan BOSE radio will work. good luck and if you have anymore questions lemme know.

I believe Vengful had a post about this for the pre 99.5+'s but I think I remember this will cause you to fail at least a Virginia state safety inspection.

I run either one rockford fosgate 12 or two rockford fosgate 10's depending on the situation.. The 10s are really only in there in the summer as they take up too much room to come to school with. With the open cargo area you dont need much to keep it loud and clear.
