  1. Yea I checked out the 100 month thing, I am up in april(according to vehicles date of sale)... So I will have them check it out when I get some free time here in the next couple days. Thanks!
  2. ok, I will check that out, I think i just got a dealer who didnt want to deal with it and was hoping i would just let it slide. Good thing I only drive my truck on weekends.. keep those miles down.
  3. The feeling is shared here too. Wish I had gotten the 31s but money did not permit at the time and now i want to wait till these wear out.. Start saving now for new wheels and tires.. hopefully get that OME done here soon.
  4. That would explain why my bumpstops are just chillin inside the spring now... I want to put the OME suspension on this spring before i head back home for the summer (the drive to school this year with my MTB, Kayak and all my clothes, etc) was a little sketch.. I know my rear end is fatigued as it is and then overloading like that wasnt too smart.. So I hope to stiffen her up this spring. -I've noticed that more and more, maybe i don't pack like a woman so much as a 15 year old girl going to NSync camp
  5. haha that in english terms would be a motherload. I pack like a woman.
  6. ohhhh i wanna try Pathfinder Pathfinder Pathfinder
  7. ultra low as compared to? and what weight are you talking about trailering or just hauling in general? I know I bring a metric crapload of stuff to school each year..
  8. yea dude that purplelizard or whatever site is the sweetness. I have been going there since I got my path. Nice job
  9. hell im happy above 280 highway... hate the gas mileage love the truck....
  10. Well that depends on how "off road" you really want to get. I am an avid outdoorsman and often times to get to trail heads or remote fishing locations, or remote river access for kayaking it involves being off the beaten trail. The R50 Pathfinder is quite capable off road when equipped properly, much like any modern SUV. There is a story floating around here somewhere of a group of guys who took a Xterra and a R50 Pathfinder down the Rubicon trail.. so it can be done. I know I have gotten mine into and out of places that probably weren't in the heads of the designers of this truck, and it has performed great. All i have done is put on a slightly bigger set of tires (would like to go 1 inch bigger when they wear out..) but other than that she is stock. As for aftermarket stuff its out there, definately, check out the link in the post above this one. You just have to know where to look. Don't worry, you didnt somehow get yourself into a CRV or anything horrid like that... although I have had some muddy fun in one of those... It really comes down to driver skill, this truck can make it through alot of stuff.
  11. Isnt that the truth... I miss the DC area oh so much..
  12. I was going to put mine on my swing out spare tire carrier but apparently that wont work...?
  13. I'm from the East Coast. Fairfax County VA when I am home and Columbus Ohio when I am here at school. I must say I do miss VA. I know there are a couple other Fairfax'ers here and some Marylanders perhaps. -Cameron
  14. Ok heres what's going on. Turn the Pathy on and start driving and I have a rapid ticking that increases with RPMs. So after looking around on here I deduced "alas! exhaust manifold" and I am under 100K (88K) so I went to the dealer and had them check it out. They told me there was no leaking and they tightened all the studs down. OK. Now what? could this be an exhaust leak further down the exhaust system? I also saw mentioned in another post something about noisy lifters, but nobody every followed up on that. So any ideas?
  15. MP3's like whoa. I put all my CDs onto MP3 cds organized by genre and then alphabetized by artist. Each artist has a folder, then each album is in a sub folder. This is much better than toting around that enormous CD binder.
  16. That sounds like a holiday worth celebrating!! Im skipping valentines day for that one.
  17. Definately, West Springfield is right down the street from my house. I will let you know when I'm back in town -Cameron
  18. http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownership/Bull...1/NTB01-005.htm Check that out -- there is a procedure Nissan put out about that. I have the same problem (haven't gotten around to fixing it yet) but it looks like this is a common problem Nissan knows about. As for replacing them.. I am not sure they will do it just due to slow retraction. The way I understand the seatbelt warranty is something must be mechanically wrong which causes the seatbelt to function improperly/unsafely. In this case, the seatbelt still works in that it will lock into place as it should and hold you there, it just is slow to retract all the way..
  19. Difference between SE and XE would be wheel size. I can't remember the numbers off the top of my head, but I think the XE wheel is a 15x6 or something to that matter and the SE would be a little wider. I also think, could be wrong, that the backspacing on the SE wheel is a little different as it tends to fill the fender flares better, that could however just be the width. Anyways, XE, go ahead with the 30x9.5 you should be fine.
  20. Yes, they will fit. I've got the XE chromes and they fit fine with no rubbing or what not. Yea, they look beefy but the stuff under there ok.
  21. hey matt, Yea, your speculation is probably correct. I would guess the exhuast heat shields judging by what you have described. My 97 was ratting for a while and i couldn't figure it out turned out to be the heat shields had rusted off on one side and just bounced as I drove. So crawl on under there and check the cat and muffler for loose heat shields... any other suggestions? second: what part of NoVa are you from? I am at school in Ohio, but I still spend summers and breaks back home in Fairfax/Springfield area. -cameron
  22. I was planning to put those switches in the blank spots by the ashtray/handbrake area. That may only be an option for the 96-99.4999, I don't remember right now. The other option would be on the driver's side by the cruise control and security LED, I think there are blank spots there.
  23. BRILLIANT! so many thinkers here on this board. Yea either of those would work pretty well. definately have to look at it this weekend.
