  2. SE.. I feel like the LE's didnt have fender flares
  3. yea, it used to work. I think they closed it down though. Sorry. Thats where I got mine...
  4. http://www.Nissan-techinfo.com/Nissan/dept...p?dept%5Fid=300 They were there... seems as though the links are broken? I downloaded the whole 97 FSM in PDF if anyone needs it.
  5. GREAT, that is just what I was looking for. I don't like paying shops for stuff like that. Thanks for the advice!
  6. Hey, So I know there are a bunch of you who just got lifted. I am getting ready to do the AC 2in lift, and was checking out the AC boards and there was discussion of adjusting two things. According to Xplorx4: There are just 2 things you need to 'modify' after the lift: extend the differential breather hose (or replace the hose with a longer length of tube), and adjust the rear brake proportioning valve. Did any of you guys do this? How about the alignment, did any of you guys have problems with the camber being out of wack? THanks in advance
  7. Someone posted another website a couple months back that had all FSM's on them
  8. funny, I was thinking the same thing. The new X is much more like the traditional Pathfinder than the current Pathfinder seems to be..
  9. I am trying to decide if I should/can put the manual hubs on before the 7 hour drive back home from school. How hard is the installation? Can it be done in a parking lot with the right tools? Thanks in advance.
  10. Unless you find one in a salvage yard... it should be the same from 96 on.
  11. Yea I have NEVER seen a R50 in a yard... never. How DJ got so lucky I have no idea..
  12. Sounds similar to the Sport Package offered on the 96-99 XE's (Rear spare tire carrier and the LSD rear end)
  13. Never HEARD of the off road package. However i have seen ONE newer (99.5+) pathy with the rear spare tire carrier. That was actually what I was looking for but settled for a 97 as time was running out. Nice truck
  14. Which is funny because (i have a 5speed BTW...) but there is still definately a spot for them in the center of the cluster between the speedo and the tach
  15. I usually cruise around in 5th if I am going more than 40.. you should be fine I would think, the motor still warms up it seems.
  16. yea I botched that one... I didn't have any idea what was good at the time and I really needed it fixed before I moved home.
  17. yet I still think its a good idea to take my daily driver off road...
  18. My 3.3 5 speed hovers around 3K on the highway... I was noticing that too, they do rev slightly higher on the highway (maybe thats why my city and hw gas mileage is the same! )
  19. If you want to just take it out of your hands completely, last spring I had a AAA Auto Care Plus (which is now my favorite chain automotive replair facility) do my struts. When I would go over a bump the steering wheel actually turned itself from side to side. Turns out it was the links, so they did struts and links for around 600. This included new mounts, bearings and the like. They got me Monroe struts, which I know nothing about... However they have held up for at least one year of abuse. You could just order the struts and let a shop take care of all the other little parts.
  20. Driving with them locked on is the same as the set up in the 96+.. Our front end is always spinning so doing 60mph with the hubs locked isnt a problem. Furthermore Nissan states that you can be traveling up to 60mph and still pull it into 4HI
  21. Those are fairly agressive looking, how do they do off the beaten trail?
  22. yea that stuff works pretty well. My first car, 87 Subaru, was starting to slip, changed fluid and put that stuff in, felt like a new tranny
