picked one up last week, it was the last one within 50 miles of my house according to the computer.... I let my buddy put it on his blazer sicne I already rock out yakima style. 49 bucks is a steal if you can still find one

Like to the look of those 99.5+ taillights

I have not tried to rewire so I will just start with that. However, it should be a fairly easy modification if you can get say a haynes manual to the 98 maxima (or anything else that has the schematic for the window switch.) Basically the back is different because now instead of just powering the windows and lighting one switch, all the switches are lit. So if you can tinker around with the schematic figure out which pin does what it would be pretty straight forward. Might be helpful if you could go to a boneyard and pull the harness from the maxima so that it would plug into the back of the switches then wire to that. Otherwise you could soder your new spliced wires onto the pins directly, but that would be alot of work.

I often wonder if my dad would notice if I took the 3.5 out of his and swapped it with mine...
-
Definately shocks, the 3.5 is quite powerful on it's own. Shocks will do a nice job stiffening up the ride and reducing body roll.

well wars for oil didnt stop China and India from discovering that driving cars is fun

I've always been a member of a forum for every vehicle I have owned, looked around and this seemed to be the most appropriate.

haha yea, I saw that and remembered paying 2.79 on Friday.. It can keep heading down, that is fine with me. Now if only the pathy was a FFV I could run E85
-
woot, back to 2.49 today.
-
Honestly, considered it. But I figure I drive the most during the summer (off-roading, getting to campgrounds, trail heads, etc) At school it sits unless I need to run errands, come home, or head to the mountains for a weekend(unfortunately, rather rare) so my wallet should stop hurting once i am back in Ohio. Plus gas is cheaper there than Virginia.

paid almost 50 to filler up last night comming home from picking a buddy up from the airport. 2.89 for 87 off of 95SB in Maryland. Redonkulous. I actually drive my 87 subaru around alot more now....

headlights only. I was hoping it would flash when it was on, but alas, it does not. If you are tech savvy you could probably pull it apart and replace the little bulb. I tried to do this sitting in the car in my school parking lot, didnt work so well.
-
yea, I don't know if they all burned out real quick, but when I tore mine apart there was a bulb there, but it definately was not working. The new one still lights up and I've had it for a year now.

I forgot to grab them off the camera before mom took off to florida. oops. She'll be back this afternoon then I might have to take down my photoshop beauty. And to think, I actually took courses on how to use that program when it's oh so easy. I should add a lens flare, those are sweet.
-
I do like the SAS R50 tho, thats quality right there.
-
Oh that was most definately photoshop 7.0. Once I get some pictures of the newly lifted goodness I will use that, but my camera is in florida with my mom right now. Glad to entertain.
-
I will try that target, I know the one you are talking about.. yea I should change the sig pic, I guess I could do that soon...
-
really? Because when I bought my 97 there was no light behind it, and I got annoyed and took it apart looking for a bulb, found one, and broke the whole switch.. Bought a new one (30 bucks from the stealership) and it was lit..
-
yea, I thought that was nice. i asked one of the quality customer care associates and she didnt think that they even ever carried that. useless.
-
and I have gone to that target weekly since you posted that and not been so lucky.. they have a picture of it on the wall.
-
BFG ATs are sweet. I run them and am real happy with them. Surprisingly good on the highway (I go to school 5 states away, they have seen some highway miles) They are plenty aggressive as long as you arent in sticky mud. Great in the snow.
-
now thats smart talkin! I offed the stock CD player in mine and have been happier ever since
-
yea... that thing has been quite the challenge.. You can also order the altima 6cd changer and it will plug into the bose cassete/radio...
