  1. yea i did, thats why i made the thread...lol yea i know it is, but i dont know how bike-mechanical he is. i hat working on my derailler, takes for ever. just find out how to do it all your slef, thats what i didm and i saved alot of money doing all of my own work, and i got to learn how to do it.
  2. its happens because the cable is getting streched somehow. i would just repalce the cable
  3. yea the superlift ones say there for the hardbody's but they fir onto the pathys just fine. try to find a site that will just send you the a-arms, cuz you wont need the shackels
  4. mountian unicycleing is isane to watch. i just got into park riding, and it is so fun, we go to a local skate park and tear it up
  5. yea im on a hardtil too. way more fun that a fully. i had a super t for a while, i cracked the arch, so now its sitting in my bedroom...lol, it is an 02 and i dunno how it cracked, i didnt do any huge drops orany thing, i think 7 or 8 feet is the biggest i hit. so i bought a manitou slider to repalce it and i havent looked back, excpet when we went to a skate park the other day. the dual crown kinda limited what i could do. so im saving up and im buying a manitou sherman jumper to swap out when we go to do djs and street stuff, then put the slider back on for trails and dh. haha monster ts are huge, too big IMO for anything other than big drops or dh....well now the 888 would be the dh fork. my buddy just got an intense m1, its the sweetest bike ive every seen, so incredably plush. heres my setup for anyone wondering.... frame - trek brusier 1(2002) fork - manitou sherman slider plus(170mm)...and soon a sherman jumper(110mm) cranks - raceface diablous bar/stem - raceface diablous headset - fsa pig dh pro brakes - avid mechs 8in(fr)6in(rr) rear derallier - shimano xt seat - wtb power v(diablo freeride park custom) got it for free when i split my head open.... rear wheel- intesne mag 30 on shimono xt hub fornt sun mammoth on a marzocchi 20mm hub some magnesium wellgo pedal kenda blue groove/nevagal - best tires i have used to date, and some lock ons ruffians for grips
  6. i sprayed lubeish stuff on mine and it pops right up now.
  7. mmountain biking is like the only thing i do, i was just wondering if any of you guys ride as well.
  8. yea ill do that, ill do the t-bar crank tomarrow when i get home, take the measerments, then ill pm you with the info. after ive thought about it ill probally get the same amount of lift you did.
  9. yea i will tomarrow, ill bring the UCA up to within a 1/2inch form the bumpstops, then ill take some measurements.
  10. i just looked at you stock pics kinda hard to read but i think its at 32'', thats what mine is at now like 32.5'' i bought mine off of an older couple, maybe they had it lowered??? headpeace is that what it was at? 32'' for stock? can anyone else confirm the stock ride heights sorry for the thread hyjack... darn now i have to do a reindex...oh well should be fun
  11. i dont know i didnt reindex, but yea that is the general idea. i havent noticed anything, if i wasnt gettign tires soon i would have gotten an alingment becasue he drivers side tire is turned out, resting more on the outside tread rather than in the middle. right now my front end is higher than the rear. it was about an inch higher before i took the tire carrier off. do you have 31s? my front(bottom of flare) is 32.5'' off the ground(garage floor)
  12. hey headpeace- you can reindex your torsion bars to get more lift. im assuming that yous t-bars are saging alot cuz i did a t-bar lift in the front to level out the truck, but i went to far and i got like 2'' out of it, and i still have about and inch with the bumpstops. the reindex should help give you the lift that you want. search for it here or on 88's site. i read through how to do it and it isnt that hard.
  13. im 18 in november so i dunno if i would go in the snow(we have had some bad snow wheeling issues)
  14. yea but im 17 and a newish driver the rents wouldnt let me drive there. next year ill see if i can make it out.
  15. if i could drive there and had some wheeling buddies that had imports(every body has jeeps, one wrangler and 3 cherokees) then i would go. to bad looks like alot of fun
