  1. I have this installed on mine : http://www.ravelco.com/ I guess you could build something based on that...
  2. Welcome.... I might have the solution for your problem... Have a look at my signature... Steve.
  3. nothing... I love my setup and it actually buzzed once when I had dropped the front of the truck in a <deeper than expected> water crossing... As soon as it buzzed, I shut off the engine. My trail buddies pulled me out from the rear (I was leading the expedition) and since only the front of the truck was in the water, for sure I had water on my feet, but the engine was saved.. No damaged whatsoever because I knew exactly how much water was in my air box... I would not change a thing.... and as far as i'm concerned, having a snorkel going as high as my roof would mean that I am ok with crossing water that high.....and that's not the case...my hood is my limit....that's high enough for me :-)
  4. My post here will interest you http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/25150-my-new-selectable-air-intake-with-a-little-extra/?p=460747
  5. Ho !!! This is absolutely wonderful... I wonder how you manage to find this... I looked for soooooo long... Thanks.. I'm keeping this one.. S.
  6. I also make rear spacers for the your truck. That with a front torsion bar crank can be an economical solution. S.
  7. for many years I ran a setup with the yakima roof basket with the spare tire attachement.. https://www.yakima.com/ca/product-type/accessory
  8. I looked everywhere and I could not find anything.... Good luck !.. ( I am looking at buying a healthy pathy witha blown engine or trans in order to take the body parts...) If you find anything, please post it ! S.
  9. I do sell some spacers in order to do the lift you are looking for. As for a body lift, you can't do this with a unibody truck like our pathfinders (96-04).. There's no frame.. Cheers.
  10. I make rear spacers for your truck also...have a look at my web site. Steve.
  11. If I were you I would write to rockford : sales@rockfordcv.com and ask how much for shipping or a reseller in sweden. They are worth every penny... These are the last cv boot I bought and they are still in great shape (no cracks) ... S.
  12. They broke because you installed them with a carriage bolt with a square end going in the round holes of the spacers. You over torqued them... When i asked you if you modified anything , you said no. I even told you that even if they were cracked, they were still doing there job as there is not forces being put on the spacers other than compression forces. Even after that i offered you 30% rebate and you declined. At 75$ with shipping , do you think i make 100% profit on it ? I stand by my products and have been helping customers to the best of my knowledge for many years now. You have been bad mouthing my products on facebook and instagram sine this incident. If you are going to continue like this, at least post the picture of the spacers with the lag bolts in them. Only an idiot would install them like that! You have my email address. If you want to write me direct to tell me that my product suck, go ahead! Even better , you have my home address too...just come by. I guess i'm too old for that crap. S.
  13. Just to add on what B said, I have seen a video recently about calipers that opened my eyes a bit... Just wanted to share with those (like me!) who did not know about the low battery issue that cheap calipers have...That could explain a few things that happened to me in the past.... **** warning ... crude language in the video *** Cheers. <youtube> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnDype-j3hk
  14. Don't know the answer to that one. Maybe others can chime in...
  15. Adjustable ones are a pain to make so that they do not loosen on the trail and also the cost becomes prohibitive for customers.. Steevo from rugged has one set available and believe me at the price he sells them, he's not making alot of profit... That's one reason i'm not planning on doing them anymore.. Like I showed, I will be doing more of a fixed length (with possibly taking custom length order).
  16. Here`s a new model, cheaper that I have done... I ended up removing them because of the bushing having a bad design. But for the core structure, these are pretty much full proof. Made from 3/16'' 2x2 square tube. Fully welded and powder coated.. This is a new model that will hopefully sell better than my high end aluminum ones I use to make. Here`s one more idea for you...
  17. like he said... I did mine too using a small pipe wrench.. Don't forget to bend the lock washer... not that difficult to do...easier if you have a lift..
  18. Have a look here : http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/27201-death-wobble-repair/?p=505291 Steve.
  19. whoa... This is pretty bad, I`ll say.. Looks like rust slowly did it`s job over the years, eating the metal away... Sorry for you buddy...
  20. There are no that bad really... just make sure you have a small bucket with paint thinner and a roll of shop rag before you start... Then clean up as you go and drop the parts in the bucket to remove the grease as you go.... http://s435.photobucket.com/user/steve_fleury3/slideshow/RockFord-cv-boot?sort=2
  21. are the ticks faster with higher rpms of the engine or higher speed of the vehicle ? This will help determined if it is engine related or rotating parts related. S.
  22. Welcome ! (these are amazing pictures ! )
