IIRC the hole should already be there for the t-case. These are mass produced parts ya know. Thats a lot of time and money to spend on giving yourself a mediocre 4wd system. It might be more cost effective and less stressful to do the SAS.

nice. there wasnt a key on the console, but there might have been one on the drivers side armrest on the same button thing as the window buttons. the power locks should activate when you push or pull on the door lock pin too.

yeah, i've been contemplating buying the ARB before remaining stock dries up. I would agree with getting a local fabber otherwise. Then you can modify things during the build too if needed.

MT's have a super short 1st gear. after swapping out the auto for the 5 speed I definitely like the 5speed better - although the auto did just fine and was much nicer to drive in heavy stop and go traffic

lol, I guess I should have been more specific. are those sound dampeners any good at all? I'd like to cut some road noise, and I have read to really do that I need to use a vinyl layer over dampening material. or does the dampening do a good enough job?

the clutch is hydraulic. I'm assuming the pedal is all the way to the floor and wont come up on its own correct? you must have lost fluid somewhere, or gotten air in your system. check the clutch master cylinder fluid level(inside engine compartment on firewall at the drivers side, just to the right of the brake master cylinder). From there you can trace the small pipes to the dampener on the other side of the firewall and from there to the other connectors/fittings until you finally get to the clutch slave cylinder which is on the bottom of the transmission. check for leaks all along these points and tighten up the connectors if needed. if it is leaking from the master cylinder itself you can either buy a new one from nissan, or pull the old one out and get a refurbishment kit. if it is the slave cylinder it is easiest to get a new one. once you have fixed any leaks or replaced leaking parts, fill with DOT4 brake fluid and bleed the system to get the air out, making sure the fluid does not go below the min level. it should work after that. it may take a few times of bleeding it.

Man, every time I see a custom made bumper it makes me wish I knew how to weld. looks good! Remember to put some tow rings on there and integrated reverse or brake lights would look cool. is the cut out chunk for a "step"? because that is a good idea.
