  1. the clutch is hydraulic. I'm assuming the pedal is all the way to the floor and wont come up on its own correct? you must have lost fluid somewhere, or gotten air in your system. check the clutch master cylinder fluid level(inside engine compartment on firewall at the drivers side, just to the right of the brake master cylinder). From there you can trace the small pipes to the dampener on the other side of the firewall and from there to the other connectors/fittings until you finally get to the clutch slave cylinder which is on the bottom of the transmission. check for leaks all along these points and tighten up the connectors if needed. if it is leaking from the master cylinder itself you can either buy a new one from nissan, or pull the old one out and get a refurbishment kit. if it is the slave cylinder it is easiest to get a new one. once you have fixed any leaks or replaced leaking parts, fill with DOT4 brake fluid and bleed the system to get the air out, making sure the fluid does not go below the min level. it should work after that. it may take a few times of bleeding it.
  2. is dynomat really that good?
  3. do you still have a copy of your video? I think one of my injectors is dying now and Id like to compare it to what yours sounded like. thanks
  4. lol. it is still my DD ya know
  5. Man, every time I see a custom made bumper it makes me wish I knew how to weld. looks good! Remember to put some tow rings on there and integrated reverse or brake lights would look cool. is the cut out chunk for a "step"? because that is a good idea.
  6. yeah man, i need my AC. I like my mean green alt, but I only paid for 1/2 of it, lol. I'd still like to get my spare respooled at some point.
  7. welcome! glad you didnt give up hope on your truck
  8. Haha, been there and done that too. A guy in a pickup even offered to put it in the back for me and I refused and said I could manage. Dumb
  9. There are tons of those ugly red interiors around here. I just did the speaker panel mod, it will fit in your pathfinder, but you need to take the crossbrace that the speaker panel mounts to from the donor car too
  10. I disagree with that somewhat. If the transmissions are in good condition I don't see why they wouldnt work still. The same transmissions were used in the R50 - and they had 30 more HP stock in the VG33 models and even more in the 3.5L version.
  11. best way is to use long extensions and wobble sockets unless you go through the shifter. its not that bad really
  12. Its really not that bad of a job. A friend helped me do it and I had almost no mechanical knowlege at the time. I was really surprised how straight forward it was. Like everyone said, make sure you bag everything and take your time. I would say that 2 people working on it at a time is enough. Not much room to have a 3rd person. If you are going to install headers or cams now is the time to do it too.
  13. module? The coil could be the problem as the engine turns over several times before it starts
  14. Pulled my codes last night and got code 21: Ignition Where should I start with looking at this? Could it be something as simple as the cap and rotor?
  15. nothing pops out. its a complete unit and the shaft just slides into the transmission
  16. Yeah thats the stuff that Rockauto sells too. Apparently all aftermarket carpets are made by Auto Custom Carpets. I have just read a few bad things about them and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with them. Lots of mustang guys swear by them, and its the stuff carpet shops put into cars so I'm thinking its probably good.
  17. just the front section where it has worn out under peoples feet. I'll have to look at a few more yards, but the ones I have been to so far dont have the right color. lol, its still more comfortable and better to look at than bare metal.
  18. I'm guessing no one has ever replaced their carpet, lol
  19. before I rush out to find a manual steering box is it confirmed that this mod will work on a truck with no body lift?
  20. Yeah, I've got a pretty good roof rack/lights, hi-lift etc. Definitely want the bigger air compressor when I do the ARB lockers. Will be getting the sliders pretty soon courtesy of my GF, and I would love a rear bumper - similar to the one KMA makes but cheaper haha.
  21. my calmini brace works too. however the point is we would like other options - cheaper if possible. calminis drop down bracket is downright expensive. we also need a place to put the 02 sensor on the midpipe so that option wont work.
  22. pitman is a different spline/diameter thats why calmini has 2 different kits for their setups. small diameter and large
  23. Has anyone bought new replacement carpet before? Charcoal = gray for our trucks right? I want to replace my passenger compartment carpet because its falling apart in the front. Rock Auto has Molded cut pile or vinyl for $160 or they have a Mass back option for $208. Does the Mass Back actually provide good insulation/sound deadening or am I better off putting dynomat in there?
