  1. will they work on an R50 though?
  2. There is lots of interest. lol. So if you modify a bumper, or have a custom one built it would technically be considered "illegal" modification of the vehicle? And that could lead to manslaughter charges in a collision?
  3. nice writeup. Wish I had done that when I blew my last engine. Nice safari rack also!
  4. There are replacement cams on www.4x4parts.com for the 3.5 that supposedly give 10% increase in HP.
  5. If there are any 5spd R50's I'm looking for the center console and shifter covers.
  6. That's exactly what I needed to know! I didn't realize the c-links were based on the tie rod ends. Thanks MY1PATH!!!!
  7. I'd like to order the HooHaa centerlink in the next week or so, but need some advice. I have a 91 Pathfinder, so it has the smaller diameter steering box. However, the box is leaking and I was thinking about replacing it with a box from a '95 with the wider diameter - which would mean I would get a 93+ Hoohaa. At some point I also want to do the idler arm elimination mod and use a hardbody manual steering box. My questions are: Did the hardbody manual steering box come in a wider diameter? or does it even matter on the idler arm side - as in could I use a small diameter manual steering box and pitman arm on the 93+ Hoohaa? Is the wider diameter significantly stronger than the smaller diameter box?
  8. IIRC the hole should already be there for the t-case. These are mass produced parts ya know. Thats a lot of time and money to spend on giving yourself a mediocre 4wd system. It might be more cost effective and less stressful to do the SAS.
  9. nice. there wasnt a key on the console, but there might have been one on the drivers side armrest on the same button thing as the window buttons. the power locks should activate when you push or pull on the door lock pin too.
  10. right here - its a brand new set
  11. I can sell you a set if you need (these are just regular bolts not the ARP ones) $55+shipping and handling
  12. So the hardbody ARB will for sure work on a pathfinder with a 2" lift? because ARB just discontinued the pathfinder bumper so people might like to know about this option.
  13. thanks man. i got mine wired up after a little trial and error. my parents even liked the mod because its "safety oriented" haha
  14. black is ground and green is hot? is green the hot wire on the brake wire too?
  15. How did you wire it up in your truck?
  16. yeah, i've been contemplating buying the ARB before remaining stock dries up. I would agree with getting a local fabber otherwise. Then you can modify things during the build too if needed.
  17. well unfortunately we may only have these guys as a pre-built option from now on. ARB has discontinued their winch bumper for the WD21
  18. id be interested. i'm in PHX so SoCal is not that far away - would be great 4 spring break, haha
  19. MT's have a super short 1st gear. after swapping out the auto for the 5 speed I definitely like the 5speed better - although the auto did just fine and was much nicer to drive in heavy stop and go traffic
  20. damn dude. i would do it if i lived there, lol
  21. so it just kills the vibration sound, doesnt insulate from road noise
  22. lol, I guess I should have been more specific. are those sound dampeners any good at all? I'd like to cut some road noise, and I have read to really do that I need to use a vinyl layer over dampening material. or does the dampening do a good enough job?
