  1. also check the that the rubber part on the brake cylinder cap is not deformed. Mine used to do that randomly and it ended up that the rubber was just deformed in there - must have been affecting how it sealed.
  2. I was thinking crown king too. that seven springs route looks interesting too from what I looked up
  3. looks good. that removable bottom section of the dash in the newer wd's sure is handy for guages/switches....wish i had that.
  4. a heavenly choir is about to expound the word "search!" lol
  5. As my truck is FINALLY finished, and the weather is cool(er), I figured its time to hit the trails. Would love to have some company and this would be a good place to start arranging trips. There are more than enough of us in the state to get some adventures going. What do you all think?
  6. neat. does it get in the way of the shifters at all?
  7. heres avm's website for thier manual hubs http://www.avm.com.br/products4.htm
  8. i had some sticking lifters too so just replaced them on the passengers side of the vehicle. you dont need to take the heads off, just make sure the cylinders are at the correct strokes before you un-tighten the rocker shafts. Make sure you soak the lifters properly for at least a day and every once in a while move them about a bit to get any air out. no more tick for me.
  9. oops...guess i didnt read well enough wilson: idk if anyone on here has that, but MY1PATH just got the postrunner rear bumper from them
  10. well, i might not rebuild it myself, not sure yet. lol.

    Jackit

after searching I found the website. thats the trailmaster lift. Jackit is just a distributor. several people on here have that lift, and its supposed to be decent.
  12. Put in a new starter this morning, only took 45 mins, and it started right up. I think ill keep the old one and rebuild it instead of taking it in for the core refund. That ways Ill have a spare. Thanks guys

    Jackit

    jackit lift? pics? website?
  14. oh...or you could always mount one on a roof basket
  15. lol, moisture, in Arizona? wires are about 1.5 years old, plugs are 2 weeks old, as are the cap and rotor.
  16. if i had a pathfinder without one, I think i would do what GG suggested and get a custom aftermarket one. That ways you can integrate other things into it like tow points, highlift mount, back up lights, turn signals, a hitch, gas can carriers etc.
  17. Just want some more opinions before I buy a new starter. the truck has been starting after about 4-6 clicks for quite a while now. On monday it began starting intermittently. as is, sometimes it would start right up, and other times it wouldnt start at all. this morning it wouldnt start at all, no turing over at all. Banged on it...and it started, although it could have just been coincidence. Drove for a while, it started again. Washed the car and then it wouldnt start again. Again, no turning over at all. checked a bunch of connections, there is definitely power to the starter (i accidently made some sparks, hehe), and can push start the car easily. anything else it could possibly be? or am I pretty much going to have to get one?
  18. hes got a 91, so he would see a frame if he looked under his
  19. mine is leaking from the rear main too, although mostly when i stop - maddening considering I just replaced it during the tranny swap. I was planning on leaving it and seeing if lucas oil stabilizer will stop the leak. will it really get all over the clutch? I would have thought it would be fairly well protected.
  20. could put some exhaust silicone in there to help seal it, and dampen the vibrations. If my clamp ever arrives thats what I'm gonna do.
  21. calmini designed that interior cage for the hardbody/pathfinder. too bad they didnt put it into production
  22. yeah, i know what you mean. but if we were all worried about stuff breaking, we would leave our trucks stock and never go offroad.
  23. yes, but you could say that about all mods you do.
