  1. or get a winch and then you can experiment
  2. See if you can get it online for cheaper. I would replace it if I were you.
  3. theres a company in Australia that makes overhead compartments/cb holders. one of our Aussie members has one installed - but I dont remember who - might be in the members rides section.
  4. welcome! Too bad about the first one, that was a nice clean looking truck. What brand of pet guard did you have in it? Looks like it fits like a glove.
  5. I think a lot of us would do this mod if we could find that grille. someone who knows how to mold plastic should fab one up for us, lol
  6. I think it is the regulator as the motor still whirs and attempts to pull it up. However, the cable is tangled now so I figure it will be easier to get a complete motor/regulator assembly.
  7. My passenger side rear window regulator/motor has gone out (it goes down, but not up - can hear it working, but it doesn't actually move the glass). I know I can get replacements on ebay, rock auto etc. but none list the REAR door units. I know front and rear motors are the same, but are front and rear regulators the same also?
  8. getting the headliner, speaker bracket and the roof support that the bracket mounts on from the JY is easy and should only cost you about $40 if not less. when you add the tweeters you should order some bass removers (capacitors?) from crutchfield or wherever and add them in line with the wires. I think putting subs where the boxes were would be a good idea.
  9. i never did anything with the at computer. you seem to have a good grasp of what is needed. sucks about the manifold studs (headers are the answer, lol)
  10. just so yall know - i have a leather boot for sale
  11. It really isnt hard I have a writeup with pictures in progress - I should probably finish it now I have graduated university.... IDK what to do with my core either - maybe try to sell it on craigslist to a rebuilding company? you cut your harness off the auto too right?
  12. Hey, I know you werent trying to start a fire, lol, I didnt take it personally or anything - just wanted to know what you meant. Heres the thing though, I already have gone through the AC UCAs, the Rancho UCAs and the Rough Country UCAs and just cant get the 3" of lift other people get. IDK why, but the max I can lift in the front is about 2" and that kills my alignment. Who knows - maybe I have some frame horn damage or something? So realistically I can only get 1.5" up front and have correct alignment. I'm going to use the Rancho UCAs up front because they are beefy and pretty unique. In the back I already have the 3" AC UCAs, but with only 1.5" in the front it looks retarded IMO. So I just want to swap out for some 1.5" springs so it looks good and I get some lift. With the junkyard springs I dont really know what I will get - anywhere from 2-4" of lift in the back. I know people cut them to where they want, but I dont really have the tools to do so and I'm honestly tired of endlessly swapping out suspension things (you change your UCAs 4 times and see if you dont feel the same way, lol).
  13. How do you figure? The Pathfinder aftermarket support is hardly unlimited. There are only a few options out there for springs: Calmini, AC, OME and Ironman. Calmini only makes a 3" lift spring AC make a 3/4", 1.5" and a 3" lift spring Ironman makes a 1.5" and OME makes a spring that I don't know for sure how much lift it gives. I'd like the OME ones because they are made by a company that is renowned for offroad vehicle systems: ARB. But I also want it to level my truck out for the 1.5" lift I have in the front. As for them being more money, rockyroad has the OME springs for $75 as opposed to $100+ for the other companies. What option do you know of that costs less?
  14. My SE head rests are definitely not ratcheting.
  15. Does anyone on here have the OME WD21 lift springs? If so, what lift in the back do they give? The ARB catalog gives .75" but I have heard the actual lift is 1.5". Which is correct?
  16. yep, "heated oxygen sensor" is the same 02 sensor. i dont think there is a how to, but all you have to do is unscrew it from the exhaust, and then detach it from all the wire holders on the tranny. follow the wire up and unplug it from the harness - and then do the opposite in installing the new one. use some anti-seize on the threads of the new 02 sensor, and I think the torque is 14-17ft lbs.
  17. shouldnt it have a vin number attached to it somewhere?
  18. it should also have a marking on the ring somewhere - i think on the outside circumference.
  19. I've got about an inch of clearance on both sides of the console in the 91.
  20. Dude, cut the guy a break. 12 mpg is not normal even with 32s on.
  21. Dynamat is supposed to have insulating qualities - how good i dont know. It will stay stuck for sure. Best dynamat product to insulate with is Dynaliner - that is specifically keeping the car cool.
